Wow!! Amazingly good food and very friendly and honest about their food! They had a coleslaw and the guy at the register was very upfront and said it is very sweet and you either love it or hate it. We loved it! The meat was amazingly well prepared and the home made BBQ Sauce was just to die for!
Great little whole in the wall spot! Catfish!!!!! A nice little spot with nice sized portions to accommodate the soul and stomach. Parking is minimal and space is for about 40-50 people comfortably! A place for the whole family. Seasoned meats and eats! Loved the sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese! Too hungry to take a picture of food. It was gone!
Have to say by far the best BBQ so far in Tucson. It always makes you feel good when an owner takes pride in he work and wants make sure that everything is to your liking. We were even give sample in some choices we didn’t order. 5 stars for great tasting food and great service.
I'm getting the impression that allot of folks here in Tucson haven't had real BBQ before... this was very disappointing. The ribs were tough... the bbq sauce was too sweet... the mac & cheese looked like Kraft mac and cheese out of the blue box... and it was super runny... and the hot links weren't hot links... it was diced up kielbasa that wasn't smoked at all. Looked like it was boil cooked and then slathered with that awful sauce! The presentation was just horrible!
I can't recommend this place. Rolls were hard like from day before ,greens were cold. Fish was hot. My husband had ribs and they seemed to be from day before with new sauce on it. We both were ill after we returned home.
Pulled pork was amazing!! Smoked chicken and smoked hot links couldn't have been better. If your in Tucson it's definitely worth the stop!!
We had pulled pork, brisket, beef ribs, coleslaw, mac and cheese, corn bread. All was wonderful. Would recommend. We are from out of state, if we get back it would be a go to place.
First visit. Impressions: nice couple that runs it. Bare bones interior. Very good sauce. Brisket sandwivh 40% fat. Fries very good. Pulled pork good. Sweet potatoes good. To go food put in styrofoam and way they are generous with sause...botoom of bun turns to mush. Ribs looked good. Small place couple miles south of Tucson airport.
We ordered rib tips and fried catfish and hot links. Definitely was NOT a hot link. It was just a smoked sausage. Nothing special at all and not a bit of spice to it. You could tell that the rib tips would have been good if they weren’t overcooked and dry. The catfish was pretty good but seemed like it was cooked in old oil because it was too dark. The greens seemed like they were straight out of the can. They were not seasoned and were very soggy. The macaroni and cheese was just okay. We threw the sides out. Not worth the calories. The bbq sauce was great. If we go back, it will just be for the sandwiches only.
Fantastic bbq joint! I had the 3 beef ribs, beans fries, and bread. Good portion size and I love their bbq sauce. To me it's tangy, sweet, and filled with spice.
