I had the #70 Miss Saigon fried rice and it was the most delicious fried rice I’ve had in some time! Delicious!
WOW. This place has gone down hill. This place has gone from average to far below average. The pho taste nothing but MSG. My tongue was numb after I ate there. Can you believe there's no basil for a pho place. Both quality and portion has gone down hill. Only the price has gone up! $17 for a bowl of pho with no basil. The only reason this place has such a high rating is because this is Tucson and people either don't have much choice or they never had the real food before. This place would have gone out of business in no time if it's in a bigger city.
The interior is stylish. My appetizer rolls easily fell apart. Very messy to eat. The prices are unbeatable. 3 of us ate at happy hour for $27! Service was good.
Work in Tucson often and Miss Saigon is my go-to lunch spot! Excellent PHO and the best fried spring rolls around that include lettuce roll ups! Service is always on top of things, and I really like this place!!
Amazing food! The food was fresh and was served very quickly. The portions were large with very good prices. Our waitress was very friendly and also very quick. The bubble tea was also very good ? Great experience and would recommend stopping by!
I've only had their vegan options - which are pretty heathy, but flavorless (low oil, good amount of carbs in vermicelli noodles). Their fried tofu is essentially a texture without taste. Add a good amount of soy sauce and its alright. Personally I prefer food that has a taste, like herbs, seasoning, spices, garlic, etc.Boba here is good though - they have a vegan creamer.
While I was in Tucson, a friend took us to this place.. I ordered the beef Phó (#21) it was good, but there was no condiments in the table to season it to your like. The service was a bit slow and seemed at times that they forgot about us. Drinks and appetizers took a bit of time to arrive. Our menus never got picked up from our table..Over all it was Good, but not the best we had.
This place used to be good but like everything else lately, it’s also going downhill. I really dislike that the servers seem absolutely miserable. I’ve had three on three separate occasions. They seem unfriendly and annoyed that they have to wait on you. If a server is unfriendly I don’t leave a tip. As for the food, it’s incredibly ridiculous to serve Pho without basil! It’s not the same at all. If I had known they were out of basil then I would’ve went elsewhere. They were also out of lime. I just didn’t enjoy it at all because it doesn’t taste the same without basil. Then my husband got some soup that looked like it had lunch meat in it. Some kind of gross looking “ham” that looks like it came out of a tube. Also the amount of fat on the beef was ridiculous. I think it’s time we looked for a new place to get Pho. I ended up getting a very bad stomachache afterwards. Which has NEVER happened after eating Pho. We don’t plan on coming back. This was the last straw. If they keep this up they’ll be going out of business like a lot of other restaurants. So disappointed!
Please offer little containers of plum sauce, fish sauce, Sriracha, and chili oil at least. And more noodles in the bun, please!Well, the food was good and so was the service, but the COVID restrictions not allowing condiments on the table need to be addressed better. We got plum sauce and the plate of mung beans and stuff, but that's it. I went and asked for chili oil and fish sauce for my friend's pho and got sriracha and fish sauce dressing. She was happy enough with that, but I was charged for the fish sauce dressing and that seems odd. Also, I had bun, and it was good, but the dressing bowl was put in the large bowl. This meant that I got hardly any noodles and greens. I got plenty of meat; I had half of it left when I ran out of noodles. I left a bit hungry. Not awesome for $14.
When the bill came I noticed that I was charged one dollar more for my meal than the stated price on the menu. I even had the waiter bring back the menu to verify this and pointed this out to him. He stated that the price just went up. I stated that the appropriate thing to do was to charge me the stated price on the menu. He stuck to the new hidden increase price. The bill WAS NOT changed and they did not bring me the itemized bill at the end, but only the total bill. I was totally appalled at this encounter. He lost a potential $6 tip over $1.
