This is the best one in Tucson! We had a large event to cater and this location had all of the food ready on time and cooked perfectly! John and his crew are fantastic.
Extremely disappointed! I had been eating here since the late 70's and the food used to be so good and fresh. I was out of state for a couple years recently and when I moved backed I had to go and get my fav's, steak fingers and chicken livers.Pricing too high! An 8 pc. Steak finger dinner meal was almost $13 and each ala carte chicken liver was .95 each. My steak fingers were either over cooked or still doughy. The chicken livers were so salty that I could not even eat them!I will he making my own at home from now on! I suggest you do the same...
I grew up in Tucson, Lucky Wishbone was always a treat, I live in Phoenix now, but will purposely travel to Tucson just for some Steak Fingers.... Love this place. It is a tradition in my family.
It's a Tucson staple. I've been eating there my while life. Yesterday I got lunch at the Broadway and Swan location. It was delicious as usual. The shrimps were a little smaller than they used to be but the flavor is still there. Yea if you're new to Tucson or lived here your whole life you gotta eat some Lucky Wishbone
Very disappointed in my 5 chicken wings and coleslaw (that I paid extra for!)..this was a takeout order so I was purchasing on the accuracy of their online menu and didn't pay until I got to location.1st) the website price hasn't been updated which I think is misleading to customers from $5.49 (I think) to $9.10 is a tremendous difference and their online menu should reflect that.2nd) the wings themselves had no flavor at all I couldn't taste any salt or pepper ( even lightly)3rd) the coleslaw was absolutely tasteless (and I love coleslaw!) ..no mayo base and definitely no vinegar or sugar (which is the basic ingredient), then menu online again showed $1.29 for small and was actually $2.25 what I paid for.It would be a long time ( if ever) before I would order from this location of Broadway & Swan (I think)...customer service was great though.I believe "ALL EATING" establishments should update their online menus especially now in 2022 where we count our pennies because this isn't the first time this has happened to me. My advice, call before you buy to confirm what you'll pay out of pocket. I boosted my rating to 3*** for friendly customer service.
I like Lucky Wishbone. I've been going to the same one since high school., 1980. when the old building was still standing and in business They built a new store and I still go there. 2022 and counting.
Fries and bread still good tasting but the size of the chickenis small the legs where very small looked like a hot wing about 3 & a half inches quantity down
The sign is missing the flashing light in the center. Fix it and I might increase my rating.
I'm a 56 year old native. Lucky wishbone has always rocked. I felt for years the prices were always reasonable. I know there is inflation and minimum wages go up, but these days the prices are thru the roof. Pop 1/2 steak and 1/2 shrimp prices went up and less food. 8 total pieces instead of 10 when you mix. What on earth is that all about! I'm not proud of our Native restaurant anymore. When I expressed my concern at the restaurant and told them that I was not complaining but trying to understand, this was my thanks for my input. A picture speaks a 1000 words. I'm done supporting my community lucky wishbone. Lucky to be in business.
We love Lucky Wishbone, however at this location the pop shrimp was not what i.expected. the shrimp were half the size i normally get. They also raised their prices. So two strikes..and one more YOUR OUT!
