I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. It’s easy to miss, but if you find the Gaslight Theater, it’s attached to that. They actually share a bathroom. Just keep an eye out and you’ll find it.We ordered a burger and Elvis’ Favorite. The burger was wonderful, cooked just right. The tater tots were delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the servers were SO friendly! I was dressed to match the theme, so when I got up to use the restroom, someone thought I worked there. I thought it was funny.Okay, now the whole reason I decided to write this review: Elvis’ Favorite. The sandwich was DELICIOUS. It’s a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich drizzled with honey, and lemme tell you, I was mad I had to share mine with my husband. We both loved it, and we would have ordered three more each if we could. That sandwich is gonna make me go back. Everything was so great, especially if you like the 50’s vibe. But I’m from Ohio and I’m already planning my next trip yo Tucson just for this place!
Had a wonderful dinner here and an amazing dessert. We were lucky enough to have Elvis and Marilyn Monroe sing to us. Santa Claus was there and we got a picture. The classic cars were cool to see and all the old cut outs of past performances to take pictures in. We stayed here with our Harvest Host membership, will be back. ?
Great nostalgic 50s style diner with great food! The menu is quite extensive and has all the American classics we love. Best milkshake I've ever had! If you are a pineapple fan you won't regret the pineapple vanilla shake! Lots of classic cars outfront for photo opportunities. Great place for kids of all ages. There is a theater behind the diner that I'd like to try out. We will be back from Gilbert to make a day of it.
Such a fun little spot! Everyone was very friendly and the decor was certainly on point. We got an order of fries that were just okay and the Elvis Pretzley shake which we probably could have split with 4 people. Overall very cool spot!
We came to Little Anthony’s diner after going to the Gaslight Theater (highly recommended) and seeing everyone ordering the pizza. We were told to order the hand tossed pizza “crispy” because we like thin crisp crust. So, that is what we did. The pizza had great flavor but the crust was still not crispy (thin and not quite soggy but definitely not the crispness we expected). Still, we would return and try the pizza again. Also, we’d like to return and try many other menu items. They have all the traditional diner food and everything we saw pass by out table looked very good. We had their dessert on the night we were at the Gaslight Theater. We tried the Mud Pie (with coffee ice cream) and the brownie sundae (with mint ice cream). The Mud Pie was actually more like a sundae with 3 scoops of ice cream, cookie crumbles, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Both were very tasty, but HUGE. The restaurant is a typical 50s diner atmosphere and it was quite fun to just sit and look at the décor while we waited for our food. The service started out excellent then fell off once our food was delivered. They were very busy that night, but it was impossible to get a water refill once food came. The staff we did interact with were all quite friendly.
This was our 1st visit and had a great experience! The staff was wonderful; the hostess got us a booth even though it was 15-20 minutes wait we only had to wait 5mins! The waitress was absolutely awesome; Jackie was very attentive and very polite and sweet! We would come back just on the service alone! The food was awesome; we got chicken strips, fries, pizza, and a sandwich, and all of it was good hot and quick! The inside is a cute 50s diner theme with a little game room with games from all decades! I would like to come back in the evening and see it all lit up! Fun little place to visit! Next time we would like to go to the theater that's attached!
The food was absolutely delicious, a homemade bun for my perfectly cooked burger! The milkshake and meal was just liked we had stepped back in time made with pride!Atmosphere was fun and lots of memorabilia and the music playing was great! Price for meal was reasonable! Waiter and staff are polite prompt and attentive, it's been a long time since we have enjoyed a restaurant this much! We will make it a routine stop when in Tucson!
Food was good. Service was a disaster. If it wasn't for one nice man that came over on a whim because we were sitting there forever without any attention, we were 1 minute away from leaving. I had just set my timer. We were sitting there for close to 15 minutes already with nothing. People that came in after us were getting served.
My mother and I came in on a Sunday around 1:30pm. The restaurant was packed but we were seated quickly. We had quite a long wait for service, which is to be expected due to the amount of customers. I ended up flagging down someone to ask for a drink. It was over an hour before our server greeted us. She was very polite and did state she was new. My mother and I ordered our food and my mother asked for her drink at that time. We had to wait almost another hour for our food. I was satisfied with my meal, however my mother's meal didn't look appetizing and she never got her drink. I'm giving 4 stars because the atmosphere was great, the servers were extremely busy but very polite, and they had staff cleaning at all times. I would suggest trying a different day, but the fact that their parking lot is always packed is a sign of a popular, busy diner. Over all, we enjoyed our time together.
The diner is a gem that takes you back to the 50s and 60s. The wait staff is dressed for the time period, and the music is complimentary to the times as well. Oh, the food, expansive menu that kitchen makes good. I recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. It's outstanding with the cream gravy; the Mashed Potatoes are right there, too. Fun place with memories of musical artists.
