Always the best at little abners. You get what you pay for. Went home full and satisfied and leftovers. We usually always order the 2 lb porterhouse but the beef ribs are also another one of our favorites. Don't just go there for the food but the history. Thank you again God bless you and we will see you again.
First time in Lil Abner's and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The 7 oz. Filet is to die for. IT WAS AMAZING!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
Was told that this was a great place to have a great steak. My filet was good but the sides were very disappointing, especially for the price point. I own a fine dining restaurant in another state and know food cost. Our server barely came to our table and it was a slow night. We spent $168 (and that didn’t include the tip) for three people, way overpriced for sitting at a picnic table.
A very hometown place to go that is reminiscent of a dive bar with great food. My half chicken was stellar. It was roasted beautifully and grilled to make the skin crispy without making the meat dry in the least, even the breast. I loved the beans, truth be told but lost myself in figuring out why there was bread as well as salsa. I understand the bread, but the salsa? Yeah, not sure. Regardless, the service was great, the people were very nice, and the food was very good.
No quality control! I went to this place before and it was good but standards deteriorated. First of all they had a kid in charge of grilling steaks that was sick and coughing all over peoples food. Absolutely disgusting! Our waitress also was not wearing a mask and stood way too close to us. It was cold but they refused to light the outdoor heater. We asked 4 times and they just blew us off.I ordered a $64 steak medium rare but it arrived charred, way beyond well done and absolutely covered with salt, I should have sent it back it was so bad. But at this point we just wanted to leave we were so frustrated and disappointed. To go with the steak you get a wilted iceberg salad, cold beans and buttered bread. No potato or corn like other tucson steakhouses. Also if you sit outside expect to suck-in smoke as they allow people to smoke near the outdoor dinners - totally illegal.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!
We took daughter and son-in-law who were visiting from Pittsburgh to Lil Abner's for son-in-law's birthday dinner. They were fascinated by the decor and both said their steaks were outstanding. This restaurant is on the expensive side but the experience and food were worth it.
We had an end of business celebration dinner at this incredible steak house. Inside n outside dining. The cooks on the grill were skilled and involved in their culinary skills! Enjoyed the live band. Awesome food, time, and service. Happy people, a great bartender, and great service. THANKS Shannon!
Fantastic food and entertainment for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Li'l Abner's for all the family. The service was great and always available. The guitar playing was inspiring and fun to watch. He was also kind and even came to my table to talk with me. I plan to go back again soon.
Visiting from out of town (upstate NY) and we were excited to try this place. Excellent meal. The steaks were great. Beautiful outdoor seating area (with entertainment). I definitely reccomend!
My first time here. I expected a little more to be honest. The food was over priced and to me, no real flavor. I had the salmon with potato wedges and my husband had the cowboy steak (2lb porterhouse). Though you do get a side salad, ranch style beans and garlic bread for the table to share, we were a bit disappointed that for $64 bucks the steak didn't come with a potatoe or anything. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The atmosphere was that of an old ranch and charming.
