Food was mediocre. The topopo salad was first serve without the shell then after we requested it be fixed, they served it without the dressing. The taco was bland.
Consistently good food and serene atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.
I think a 1-star review is too high for this place. I have never seen staff so rude, nasty, and just impolite. While the server was nice, the owner was despicable and honestly doesn't care about people and her restaurant. On top of all of this, the food was absolutely mediocre. In Tucson, there are so many wonderful Mexican eats, so please go anywhere but here. Even Taco Bell has this food beat. The food is overly expensive, small portions, taste terrible, and served with a side of attitude and disrespect. Please do not support this restaurant and please patronize any other local business in the area.
Very good hidden Mexican restaurant. It's in the back of the shopping center office complex on swan where Trident grill is in the front.
We were in a rush, therefore did not have the time to properly enjoy our meal, however the food was delicious, the pricing quite reasonable and the server did her best to get us in and out quickly. We hope to return when we have more time and I have no doubt that our review will increase to an excellent rating.
chicken mole ok..but not as good as La Hacienda in Oro Valley; beans very good; green chile tamale had no green chiles in it.... rice good...jalepeno appetizer ok. Charged us was terrible wine..we shared with them. Server was poor..stretched way to thin..and unorganized. Owner tried to cover.
Marcella was our waitress and was very friendly and kind, however the owner Maria was extremely rude, talked down snatching credit cards and tickets. She also made the remark "There are other Mexican restaurants" I am very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to patronize this place. The food was good, but the service was deplorable.
First time here & tried the shredded beef tacos. I didn't like the meat flavoring but the rice is good.
This little restaurant is tucked away at the back of a mall. The food is obviously cooked fresh, and it is staffed by family. In fact, it's a bit like eating in someone's home, with a fireplace and cozy seating. Inexpensive and good value. A plus is that there are no TV screens anywhere to be seen.
I get the corn tamales with the sauce and beans with chips and salsa. The cheese crisp is Awesome also.
