The experience was a very positive one. We had a party of 5 and the service was quick. We got a variety of Chinese, Chinese-American, Korean and Japanese dishes. I did not count, but there were likely 100 or more dishes to choose from, all of which sounded delicious. There were also pictures of a number of dishes on the menu, and the staff did an excellent job of explaining the dishes as we were not familiar with many of them. When the food came we all tried each other's dishes and they were all very tasty. If I were to recommend dishes, I would advise customers to try dishes not off the Chinese-American portion of the menu. While these dishes were exceptional and had fantastic sauces, we found the best dishes to be the ones we never had before. These dishes brought a fun experience as we were exposed to many new flavors. Before we left, we asked for the manager to tell her that the food and service was excellent, that we had a great time, and that we would be coming back and bringing friends. I highly recommend Kung Fu Noodle!
Kung Fu Noodle was recommended by a friend for fresh, Cantonese style food and it is outstanding. I ordered Pork Lo Mein. The noodles were homemade - light, fluffy noodles which were the perfect thickness. The vegetables were cooked perfectly crisp but not too crisp and the pork was sliced thin, with great taste. The sauce was light and fresh. Highly recommend. I ate in the restaurant which was very clean. The staff were friendly and attentive (but not hovering waiting for me to finish). Will be back soon to try more of their extensive menu.
The food was so tasty and fresh, and the noodles in the lo mein and vegetable noodle soup seemed like they were house made. The crab puff, vegetable soup, orange chicken, and lo mein were all high quality and delicious. My favorite Chinese food in Tucson and I’ve tried everywhere.
Everyone used to enjoy this place but now it's dead because of the price gouging that went up 3 times before the pandemic and trade problem. With each excuse the prices go up. Kung foo noodle soup used to be 10.95 now it's 15+$$$ !! All other dishes too. If they were humble and lowered the price they would make great money again and be a great restraint again.
Food is very authentic. Took a picture of the hot pot dish after I dove in. I could tell the food was fresh. Will be coming back in the near future.
Large menu. Many regional Chinese selections. Be adventurous and steer away from American dishes. Technically, ingredients are well highlighted. Amazing fried rice choices. Good value. Friendly, attentive service. If there at popular times, not much social distancing.
2022 update: Still good. The people here always greeting and helpful with orders and recommendations. They updated the menu again slightly but is still much better.2021 Update: This place has become my to-go place when i am craving Chinese/Cantonese food. The people are really friendly and will recommend delicious and authentic dishes if you ask them. The menus now is much simpler to read! Again, the area is always clean and the service overall is great, at least i have never had any issues in the last 4 years.2017 - Previous: Food is good. Seems aunthentic, service is good with waitress walking around asking of you have questions and helping with anything they can. Menus could do a lil work, not the food but how they explain the content. Everything is always clean. There working hours seem sporadic at times, which is bad when you have a random craving for noodles and you have to hope they are open. Besides minor things, it's a good place to eat. Different type a menu that a lot of people will enjoy.
We did a group order yesterday for lunch and I went simple with Chicken Lo Mein, absolutely delicious! Their noodles are homemade and perfect! The sauce was perfect ? We will be ordering for sure again!
Delicious food! The dumplings and noodles are made in house. The wait staff were extremely nice and helpful and the food came out fast and hot. Will be trying other items on the menu next time.
One of the best Chinese foods I have had in a long time. I just drove across the country and have had the fortune of dining in many Chinese restaurants in my lifetime and this definitely counts really high up on my list. The dumpling, vegetables and noodles- everything was great. The hostess even shared how the food was prepared and was very friendly!
