We always get Pork Bulgogi, Kimpo 3 and the Mandoo!! Fell in love with Korea House since 1997. Highly Recommend. Delicious!
The bldg and most of the interior is old. The gentleman inside was nice and attentive. The menu was small but had enough stuff to give you a variety. The food was good and had quit a bit of flavor. I would recommend people give it a chance. Good little place for Korean food.
Korea House is one of those places you could easily drive past and never notice, it is so unassuming from the street. But, let me say, take notice. The food is excellent, as is the service.
Food was ok but for $36 dollars i got less then a quarter pound of food i can go to panda and spend $11 dollars and get more then both meals combine. I have travel to different Korea House restaurants all over USA and was super excited when i seen this one but was sooo disappointed. This is by far the worse one i have experience. Your giveing the rest of them a bad name. im going to leave a picture of what i paid for $18 worth and you tell me if this is worth it.. Also you get veggies with your meal i order two meals got one set of veggies. This pic at most is $12 and that is with inflation. sorry not sorry this is only the second review i have ever done thats how passionately disappointed i was.
I have no idea why this place has 4 stars. The windows are broken and it is a dirty place. I had to return the food. Bulgogi was made from boxed strips of meat from freezer. It was 20$ I was afraid to taste anything else. Disgusting!
I was not crazy about the place. The kimchi was a little boring. The bulgogi dry, served on a bed of raw onion that very unfortunately i tried to sample. These onions are still making holes in my stomach an hour later.They need a new cook... Although I won't know: I am probably not going back.
I never write reviews however, I need to for this place. My friends and I decided to try this place out and we had a terrible experience. I am vegetarian so when we ordered our food I picked an item from the vegetarian section of the menu. When they brought out our food my dish had meat in it. We told the lady and she proceeded to tell us how it was our fault since we didn't say vegetarian (even though we pointed at the item on the menu when she took my order). We apologized because we understood that there was a miscommunication on our part. We asked her to take back our food and she refused. She started to say that we needed to pay for it. She then says that I should just pick out the meat so she picks up my chopsticks and starts to pick out the meat. We kept telling her no but she would not stop so we said we would pay for it and asked for another plate without the meat. At that point, my friends and I were extremely upset and could not eat. Thankfully, after some arguing, we were able to get them to take out the item from our bill.
This was my first visit and my first Korean food and I was very impressed. I had a tasty combo meal. I will return.
