I have been here several times, and the food has been great. I love the Friday special (pork ribs). I've also had the special for Wednesday (Nachos) several times with brisket one time and pulled pork the next. The coleslaw is great. As an after meal treat they include a couple of Hershey kisses. All this in the typical old building BBQS always seem to use. (At least the good ones).

Best fried okra ever.Other stuff was very good also...Saw their sponsor signage atTucson Sugar Skulls gamePortions are appropriate to prices. And appropriate for meal sizes. Our bellies are well filled,Not uncomfortably overstuffed. And we are not having to take home left overs.

They sell out quick. Because it's amazing. I would not go there at 2 cuz they will probably be closed. It's my favorite place in town. Get there early. Thank me later. All the sides are delicious, the sweet tea is the best.

We dropped in here for a lunch prior to hitting the Reid Park Zoo. Some of the best BBQ and sides I’ve had. Lots of gluten free options which was good for my wife. Kids loved their pulled pork and fries. Their sauce was a hit for all of us. I had the brisket which was really flavorful. For sides I got to try the Western beans, fried okra, potato salad, and fries. Western beans were my favorite side, but the fried okra was a close second. Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Definitely gave us the energy we needed for a fun afternoon.

Happened to come here on rib day (Fridays). Unfortunately didn’t get to try the brisket but the ribs were delicious, along with the western beans. I would’ve liked more smokiness on the ribs but the flavor and texture were perfect otherwise. It was all so good, I forgot to take photos. I will be back to try the brisket!

Delicious. Love the spicy BBQ loaded mac and cheese. Cheese sauce is creamy and great. Spicy BBQ has great flavor with just a hint of a kick.

Food is great but this is what a side of Mac and Cheese looks like. It’s literally 1/3 of the cup. For $3 dollars, never again will I buy a separate side. At least not to go.

Wow! This place is amazing! Better than most Texas BBQ! The Brisket was so good! It was juicy and flavorful not dry at all. The pulled pork is perfectly sweet! The Beef sausage was a wonderful surprise, that everyone liked. The Mac and cheese and loaded Mashed potatoes were good! Loaded fries were another win! Down to the sweet tea and super soft rolls everything was great! Not one of those BBQ places you have to pretend to like. Sooo good. My whole family including 2 picky kids loved their food.

The price was high. A two meat plate plus a drink was about $20, served in a styloform container, with seating that was less comfortable than that of a shopping mall foot court. Chicken was dry but brisket was nicely done, moist and tender.Judging as a BBQ joint, it was more than adequate. As a restaurant, there are far better choices out there.

Everything was excellent. Brisket, pulled pork, and beef sausage were all so good. Even the sides were good: Mac & cheese, Cajun slaw, western beans, and loaded mash . We both finished every bite and got sandwiches to go for dinner. Lol even though we aren't in Tucson often we will be back for sure.
