Kind of dated but staff try hard. Food good. Reasonably priced.
Great little spot! The owner made me a custom cocktail that was very delicious! We named it Nicki's Nickers ? great atmosphere and company!
This place is the closest thing to a Midwest fish fry I've seen in Tucson. Fabulous food on Friday. Friendly staff, quick service. A great place to eat. There chef could teach other food places how fish is supposed to be made. I'll be back again soon.
Not my flavor. Pretty bland and basic. I love fries and they were undercooked. RC soda is weird to me, can we get the real thing coca-cola. The hamburger was actually good it did not look or taste like a boring patty. It is a very old family restaurant which I love!
This was the slowest place in town. The fish fry was horrible, fish must of been frozen. It was low in flavor and high in water. By the time I ate the last piece it was soggy on the bottom. The fry's had been left too long under the heat lamp. They were cold and stiff when eaten. The only thing I can think of is the other reviews that gave high praise must of been after they had several drinks under there belt. Back to finding a good fish fry place. They picked up our plates and didn't ask if we wanted more. Even though I would've said no.

Service was friendly but seems to be understaffed. Tried the Rueben, it was pretty greasy. The potato salad was interesting. Quite sweet and very finely mixed, almost the consistency of mash potatoes. Does have a local bar feel to it.
Went for Friday fish fry at 7pm, they told us they were out. Waited for a while in the foyer. Went in and ordered food and others were getting fresh plates of fish. Waited for another long while with two hungry kids at our table and finally when we were walking out the door our food came out. We went back in and ate. The food was decent. The server was nonchalant. Another group leaving was grumbling that it was bad for them too. Two hours was too long.
Awesome bar, great pricing, amazing burgers, and their bartender, Cal, is phenomenal. Keeps me coming back!!!
