Been going there 15 years. Good inexpensive food and quick service.BUT,---They need to fire the Lady with the short black hair! Very rude and makes up lies about the customers --.I will never go back there, until they do replace her. She is toxic to the rest of the good people there !!!She don't do anything except run her "Cake Hole".
I sat at the counter, Diane quickly had coffee and a menu in front of me. the food was SO good! I had an omelet, toast, and hash browns. The toast was a thick slice of rye that was really light, not a dense bread. The hash browns were well fried, crispy on the outside, tender inside. And no greasy taste from the grill. My omelet was really hot and fresh and delicious! And Diane kept my coffee full. Definitely will stop again!
This is my son’s favorite breakfast place. We’ve been going since he was 2 years old. He says “I like all of your stuff. The people are nice and kind.”We try to get different meals but you can never go wrong with pancakes or waffles.
No wait time (Sat 9:30), food came quickly. I ordered corned beef hash, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes. Perfect amount of food for the price. Hubby got the meat lovers omelet, pancakes and toast. Joe's didn't skimp on the meat for the omelet. Pancakes were delicious. Fluffy, chewy and a little buttery crisp on the edge. We will definitely be going back to Joe's!
Joe's is a Tucson classic mom n pop spot with great prices and great portions. Delicious pancakes and french toast, but my favorite thing to get is hash browns. I work a lot, so I love to get breakfast to go from here. It's always ready super fast and the location is very convenient.
A true gem of Tucson’s east side. If I could give it 6 stars out of 5 I would. Your Service is always fast. Your bill is always cheap. You won’t be able to make breakfast at home for cheaper the joe! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
First time coming to this place. Food was good, not the best quality but better than IHOP anyday of the week. Only complaint is that it was more expensive than I thought it would be. My husband and I got biscuits/gravy and chicken fried steak. Two coffees & a side of toast ( toast alone cost $2.80!) Coffee was $5.50. Total bill Before tip $38.25 ...so after walking out with nearly a $45 bill just for breakfast, we don't think we will be back
This used to be a good restaurant. Today we went there for breakfast and when our food finally arrived after 40 minutes, it was absolutely cold, not lukewarm, not warm, but cold.I did not “feel” like it took 40 minutes. It ACTUALLY TOOK 40 minutes and I did complain but was only offered new pancakes which after the first 40 minute wait I declined. You permanently lost a customer and I’ll tell my friends too. No response required nor desired.
New to Tucson and went here. Wish I could give a better review than a 5!The weekday French toast special was delicious. Been twice already and will be back, the food was so delicious and great prices!
A good breakfast to be had at less than $15. Had a Silver Dollar pancake stack plus bacon plus bottomless dark coffee. Really good, delicious meal at a fair deal and better than IHOP. Restaurant is clean and in a convenient spot close to a Wal-Mart and bus stops.
