Really bad. Salad was missing most of the toppings I chose, container was dirty and sticky on the outside, and portion not as advertised. What happened to this place?
Lack of attention to detail. The last recent visits have been a continuous lack of being able to interpret orders. More recently, I acknowledged to a staff member the type and amount of protein was incorrect and they proceeded to use their hand to take the incorrect protein out of the bowl I ordered. Pay attention to your orders, customers.
Fast doordash orders! The vibe indoors is hip, and fast service. I like the spicy mayo + ginger soy sauce, on tuna & salmon. Always fresh, not preservative-tasting. Quick & easy, $14/person.
Ordered Uber eats…I’m in love. So delicious. I ordered a regular bowl. It was pretty big, enough for two. It was stuffed. Coulda had a small. I had half rice, half salad. House sauce and spicy mayo. Spicy tuna and all the works. The crispy onions really hit the spot! Def recommend
Sadly they do not work with the elderly. You can not order over the phone and give a credit card. Then drive over and pick up order. Lots of places like this unfortunately. We liked the food ok, when we dined in, but sometimes it’s nice to call ahead, then take home. Sad part is, we always tip 30%. I wonder if the younger generations do this? Oh well, cest la vie jimmy. You won’t get my business from now on. Unless you take my concern seriously and change your policy.
This place is awesome! I got a white rice bowl with chicken and veggies topped with spicy mayo, and it was fantastic! It was my first time there, and the workers were really nice with helping me pick out my toppings and sauce! It is a little pricey, but they give you a lot of food for what you pay.
This was a fun place to discover. Food was good. But I felt like I played it safe since I hadn't been here before and didn't know how to order. You can choose your own adventure here with sauces, meats, veggies, etc. I left thinking I will come back again and try different items on the list. They were on the busy-ish side but it was Friday night and Broadway in Tucson night also.
I've had poke in a dozen different metro areas in the US. It's really hard to make poke taste bad or even bland as long as the fish is fresh. Jimmy's Pita and Poke sure made it very bland on my visit. Their price is on the higher side due to its popular location, but the portions are actually on the smallest end. The sauce selection is also very limited. The house sauce is just a soy sauce variation without any distinctive flavors. There is no massago as a topping that I've had everywhere else. The "spicy salmon" protein choice is simply a real-time mixing of its regular salmon with spicy mayo sauce. They actually do it right there and then! Everywhere else it's a pre-made choice that has other flavors blended in. I mean, they could've put eel-salmon, garlic vinegar-salmon, and soy sauce-salmon as protein choices too. LOL. Overall, it was the blandest poke I've ever had.
Hawaiian sushi (poke) when done right is amazing!! They do it right at Jimmy’s. I did notice a changing of employee’s. Why do they seem to go through them so quickly? Your staff is important and without them, a business is destined to fail. There is a shortage of food workers. Pay them more then you need to and they will be loyal and reliable. I know from experience. My crews are like family. One love.
Admittedly, I was stuck at work and had to get delivery if I was gonna eat anything. I was pleased to find Jimmys Pita & Poke as an option on DoorDash. Had not tried it before but definitely will have again! Good food, and it was uplifting to see as I continued my office work.
