So far it's one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to, I've tried others and they are NO comparison to Izumi. The owner is a masterful chef and very nice. The sushi he creates is super delicious and he will make custom rolls for you. A must try if you love sushi. I will not go anywhere else.

The food was sapar to be honest, I haven't been there before and my sister said it was yummy so I was like bet and it wasn't. The wait was so long for our food, I ordered two rolls, the Vegas roll which by the time they bought it out, it was cold and it was fried which means it had just been sitting out before they finally brought it out. And we all waited for 40 minutes or so just for the Dynamite roll to come out and that was the saving grace. It was good, alot of mayo on it and it was actually hot. Then after they bought us the food, they just stopped checking on us or seeing if we needed anything. We sat there for 20 minutes before they came over to get us our checks. I was hoping for a 10/10 but I would give it a 5/10 and thats on cap! (Which is slang the young people use)

The food was pretty good, had a sushi Deluxe Combo and some Edamame, the price was good for what we paid. The atmosphere, though, felt off. We were there 2 hours before closing and the place felt closed already. It feels like the aesthetic attempt is for a sushi sports bar and it's not quite reaching that.

Great presentation, good sushi, a good option for some good sushi that won't let you down! The Vegas roll is ?

So now this is my own personal opinion. Yes yes I went to the sushi place a lot. Almost a month and a 1/2 straight by 2 or 3 times a week. It's been a while since I've been able to go back. So if you were regular You might have the same experience I just had. The food is not the same by any means. The food used to feed my soul . Now all it does is feed my toilet.

I have worked in the service industry most of my adult life and I am so disappointed by the service we got. We waited over an hour (not an exaggeration) to get our food. No communication, no apologies, nothing. The sushi was definitely not worth the wait either. Unfortunately we will not be coming back.

So the last time I was at Izumi’s a quick meal turned into a 2 hour ordeal because of very, very slow service. One of the servers actually recommended I write a bad review for the restaurant because the chef was causing such a backlog.New ownership/management later: still the same. Ordered at 7:30 for takeout. Food was supposed to be ready by 8:19 - 8:29. I arrived at 8:25 to be near the middle of the estimate. It is now 9 p.m. and my order hasn’t come out.The restaurant isn’t too busy.

Oh my god…the mackerel was dry, yellow, and stinky. It was actually rotten or gone bad I kid you not. The oysters I ate one and crunched on ice. I didn’t finish anything and luckily they didn’t charge us for the bad fish, but I’m in shock. This is the worst sushi I have ever eaten or seen in my entire life, hands down. Having stomach pain already, I hope we don’t get sick from this, seriously bad raw fish is a health hazard and I’m going to look into reporting this restaurant for food safety.

The food was good. It was different because instead of everyone's food coming out at the same time it came out individually with a lapse in between. Which was unfortunate being we were a good sized group. This was due to there only being one cook working. Our waiter was good.

I have eaten here and liked the food, but I will NOT be going again. the owner recently fired a close acquaintance of mine after learning she was pregnant. Excuses were given by the owner as to why she was being terminated considering her "condition" as a "risk", but she had no issues until AFTER she divulged this information. So at the very least DO NOT WORK HERE.
