It's Greek to Me has some of the best Greek food I have ever written. Their staff is so nice and friendly and the service is great. However, the food is what we come for and It is sooooo good! From their appetizers to the Baklava you can tell they know what they are doing and they do it great. You cannot miss with this. Their Gyro's and Tzaziki is the best!

Wow. Can’t believe we live so close and hadn’t tried It’s Greek To Me until now, but very happy with our first experience! First of all, yes, you DO need to make a reservation. Stop trying to walk in because there aren’t all that many tables so it’s just a good idea to make a reservation to be sure. Depending on how busy it is, if you walk in, you may need to wait a couple of minutes because the hostess is also the server. We had Marissa and she was FANTASTIC! I mean, she does it all! She’s seating people from the host station, she’s taking orders, bringing food out from the kitchen, serving drinks, and she’s able to keep up! She’s also very personable and pleasant, and that really helps you enjoy the dining experience. The ambiance is nice, too, it’s got linen tablecloths, the seats are very comfortable, the tables are spaced out well, you can have a nice quiet conversation, and on top of the excellent service, the food was EXCELLENT! On top of THAT, they have PLENTY of gluten-free options. There are several restaurants in the area that offer gluten-free options, but honestly, in terms of the variety, It’s Greek To Me has them all beat. I mean, for heaven’s sake, even the falafel is gluten-free! And gluten-free or NOT, it’s DELICIOUS! And the portion sizes here are quite large. We ordered the mezzo platter as an appetizer, and it came with PLENTY of nice fresh, warm pita bread (which was delicious, by the way, it’s never the star of the show for these appetizer platters but don’t sleep on the pita here, it’s really quite good!), along with a few dolmas (great!), cubes of feta (excellent, legit feta, not the stuff you buy in the grocery store), nice briny olives (green and black/kalamata), another type of cheese I didn’t recognize but was excellent, tahini, and hummus. Not one of those elements was off the mark. And there are plenty of other great looking appetizers (like the Saganaki).Vegetables are even fresh and delicious (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, all great)! Falafel was spiced just right. I mean, we’re old and not that spice tolerant but this falafel was really flavorful, and it was not dried out on the inside, and crispy on the outside. AND it’s gluten-free? Get out of here! (And vegetarian for those who need that option). The menu has plenty to choose from. Which is great because I can see us coming here on a regular basis. Because I also forgot to mention a very nice reasonably priced wine list, and a delicious set of desserts (they were out of the rice pudding on our visit but man, that chocolate cake was memorable as well - usually those GF chocolate cake desserts are like a brick, but this was actually light and fluffy, and not overly sweet, and the accompanying whipped cream was great!).Great ambiance, service, wine list, and food, including gluten-free and vegetarian options? You CANNOT go wrong here. We’ll be back.

The very best Spinach salad I’ve had in 30 years. Fabulous. Full of flavor . My husband loved his shrimp. This is a definite return

As with most companies right now, and especially with restaurants, they are having difficulty with Staffing. That said, the service was very good, and the staff was wonderful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are quite large, so you can split an order or get a to-go box if you like. We highly recommend it.

Great dishes and large Greek wine selection. I had the seafood stew is was excellent.

Very tasty food at a low price. We got gyro sandwiches with a little side salad. The portions were huge with lots of tzatski sauce. The 2 olives in the salad had pits. However the woman that answers the phone is abrupt, condescending and generally quite unpleasant.

service was very good. Saganaki was great and fun to watch on fire. Hummus very tasty. Lamb shoulder was good but I would prefer it without red sauce. Bit surprised roast potatoes werent included. wine menu limited and our first choice not available but cabernet was quit nice.

There are only two restaurants in the Tucson area where we feel like family. It’s Greek to Me is one. Thanks to the owners for making us feel like valued customers!!! Great food - a local treasure!

Walked in on a Sat night without a reservation (not on OpenTable, call direct next time) but were able to get a table after a glass of wine and a short wait. Packed with super friendly locals, wait staff was very polite and genuinely friendly, greeting some patrons by name. Food was superb with reasonable prices. I had the seafood special, tons of mussels, scallops, shrimp in a white wine sauce. Not overly high end decor, but that was fine for us as long as the quality of food is exceptional, which it was. Will visit again. Plan accordingly, last reservation was 7pm.

Fabulous atmosphere and food! Fresh ingredients and flavors..
