What a great visit. It was close to my family's home and the food and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beer on tap was cold. I had the Wednesday Sirloin special. It was very good!.

I've been to HOPS before, and the service and food were great! Went for Father's Day at 1:30pm. At that time, the place was half full. It took 20 minutes for a bottled beer and margarita (didn't taste any alcohol and I had to pay for a shot to make it right). The server blamed the bad service on the bartender being "swamped". We ordered street tacos, and a cheeseburger. It took an hour to get our food. No apologies to us for the slow food service, but the table next to us decided to take their food home and got 50% off their bill. The menu didn't specify whether the tortillas were flour or corn. They are flour, which I was unable to eat. It would have been nice if they specified, or gave options, since some people have a gluten intolerance. I can get past little things like forgetting the salsa, and Thousand Island Dressing but not poor service, and a nonchalant attitude. Overall poor service. Disappointed today.
Just came in for a quick bite, ordered fries and mozzarella sticks. Flavor and seasonings on both was amazing. Also ordered margaritas, but they tasted very watered down. Would return for food and maybe beer!
I am sorry to review Hops with such a low score. The truth is there is a problem with the kitchen staff. We were there tonight for 2 hrs waiting and food was burnt and one meal was missing. All our meals came out separately, one every 10 minutes or so after waiting over one hour. The all you can eat spaghetti was missing too. One person ordered the all you can eat spaghetti, but never got anymore after the first small plate came. The waitress said there was no more cooked!!! One person got their food so late that he had to ask for a box!!! Then on top of all of this the burnt meal wasn't even eaten! But wait...they charge over 4% to use a debit card!!!
Beer selection is fantastic, especially for local sudz. Food is a hit or miss, seems like the time we have gone where is was not busy, food was an 8 out of 10. Went last night around 6pm, friday night before Memorial Day Weekend and food was ok, service was good... BUT let me tell you, if you like onion rings... I mean if you REALLY like onion rings, they are the best I have ever had! Some sort of light beer batter so you get a sweet onion flavor with a killer crunch

Absolutely the best bar we have ever been to. Definitely suggest it to anyone. Every person who works here is super cool very friendly. The owner is on top of his stuff. Love the atmosphere
