Great place to have some drinks and socialize on the weekends. They just expanded their space so there’s an xtra bar and dance area. Seems like a more mature crowd than most places downtown as well. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because of their lack of variety of quality beers on tap.
What a great place. Great atmosphere, staff was very pleasant. Security is on point. Felt safe and relaxed. Very clean. If you haven't experienced Highwire then it's a must.
Great place to dance with your friends. And relax and let your energy out takes your stress away.
Started a bar hopping night at HighWire, and while waiting for the rest of the group we got some shots... Amazing!!
13FEB2022: Not for me....good location, quiant courtyard - nice to sit outside if the weather is comfortable.....the Mexican Candy shot with the gelatine ruined me. Not a fan. (Gelatine: a virtually colorless and tasteless water-soluble protein prepared from collagen and used in food preparation as the basis of jellies, in photographic processes, and in glue) - was not to my liking at all....and that is from a guy who lived in the southern Philipines for 6 months and had his share of Balut. These shots were significantly less desirable. Prickly Pear and conventional mimosas lacked personality - flat, and semi costly considering nearby competitors.Giving it an "ok" because I recognize this is based on a specific taste profile - mine. Not a fan, won't be back - wish them good luck going forward.
Worst experience of my life. Paid 40 dollars for VIP. Waited for a drink for 40 minutes. A girl asked me if I needed help I told her yes I had been there for a while. A girl with blond hair turned to me and proceeded to be really rude to me and aggressive. Then she had me kicked out for no reason. Did not get 1 drink and did not get my money back for the entrance. Very horrible feeling she left for me. Definitely did not give me the feeling to come back or give recommendations of this place. I will put a report towards this person, not right to treat other people like that. I am nurse and a waiter myself I had long days of work. I did not appreciate for someone to treat me that way when I said nothing rude to to this person.
Need to know tne name of the owner Manager's name . I will follow with a police report Against one your bartenders, including a security employee in your place. The woman (blond short hair) acted with rudness and aggresive towards a couple. With this kind of employees your business will loose costumers and gain a bad reputation. Apparently she totally forgets that thanks to customers she is getting a paycheck!! The incident was today 2/19/22 at approx 12:50 am. Please need to get in contact with owner prior to follow with a police report. The couple was my daughter and her boyfriend.
Love the weird shots on a spoon. makes you think you're not even drinking much. Great place to go downtown with a nice atmosphere. I liked the guys at the doors from the protection company. They we're warm hearted and inviting guys that look like they know what they are doing, checking places i didn't think I would hide something. We will be back from sure as soon as it warms up.
