I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. This family owned spot has a relaxed vibe with a nice menu selection.. I decided to be adventurous & try a different entree. The Pasta Primavera was luscious. The sauteed veggies with the white wine butter sauce was so good I thought about licking the plate. The complimentary sliced bread was OK but nothing special. The olive oil & balsamic is nice for dipping the bread. My Companion ate every last bit of the Pesto Penne Pasta. If you love pesto with a touch of cream you'll love this.
Quality ingredients and friendly staff. Great happy hour cocktails. Garlic Flatbread appetizer was delicious! Pork Carbonara was yummy. Meatballs tasted homemade. Sausage Penne was very flavorful. Definitely recommend and worth the wait!
The food here is amazing. I got the meatball pasta and was overjoyed. Food was incredibly delicious. The reason why I am leaving a 3 star review is because service in this place was horrible. The waitress never came up to you, you constantly had to go find them, they came up maybe once. I could understand if they were busy, but we were the only ones inside the restaurant. I think more people would be coming here if the service was better. I would order food to go from here, but I would never dine in at this restaurant ever again, until they get better service. The staff never talked with you but only maybe one word here and there, the server she was very quite and hardly could hear here, when you needed her you had to hunt her down. If you ever eat at this restaurant I highly suggest that you order to-go as food is good, but do not dine in until they are able to train their staff too how to properly talk and interact with their guest. I will not be eating dine-in here ever again until they train or get new staff to wait on their guest.
Table for 3 on a slow Friday night in June. Horrible service, extremely long wait for the food 1.5 plus hours and very poor quality meat for the pork carbonara. Be prepared to get a work out trying to cut a crappy piece of meat . Think shoe leather. Unless something radically changes I'll never return. I was embarrased after bragging about the food to friends that I was treating for dinner. The waiter never returned to replenish water, bar drinks, or ask how the food was. Had there someone to talk to I would have sent the meal back. Read recent reviews before trying this place. Service and quality of food seem to be.on the decline.
I am a honest person, I should of gave a 1 instead of a 3. The only reason why was because of the manager did the right thing and did not charge us. I am returning a favor with a 3.3 things went wrong: The coke was flat and a big advertisement banner of coke is at the front entrance way. COKE need to read this review and share the embarrassment. Coke has let Guiseppe down and should share the disappointment cost of our dinner experience.Number 2 was the minestrone soup, terrible- hard veggies and was no taste. Just throw in some itialian season in plain tomato soup, very weak.Lastly was the main course, chicken fettuccine alfredo. The worst I ever had in over 60 years. Noodles and grilled chicken, no sauce. Really no alfredo sauce. I took a picture. I have been looking forward to this place and will not go there again. Too bad, I had to go to blackjack and order a pizza. No sauce, what a terrible situation. My suggestion to the manager taste the whole menu so he is aware of what food they are serving. His comment was to add more sauce? What sauce was my comments and it was too cold to fix it up.3 strikes and you are out. Here is the picture, dried noodles.
Giuseppe's is always delicious. We noticed this time that the portions are a bit smaller but the prices are the same. About to be expected at this time. The food is still delicious. Eddie is amazing as our server. I can't remember the name of the young man at the bar but he is very good and prepares drinks promptly and they are delicious. I had the eggplant parm and it was great, with just the right amount of delicious crispy cheese on the edges. One of our favorite places. I do recommend reservations as they are very very busy.
This is the perfectly nestled Italian restaurant in town with affordable prices and food which tastes like your back in Italy! I should know since I’ve lived there for 5 years. Perfect for date night or with family. Wait staff really friendly and will even box up your leftovers. Ordered the Alfredo which paired perfectly with handmade meatballs and the sauce was exquisite. The rigatoni had carrots, celery and seasoning with a dollop of ricotta. Caprese salad had the right amount to share with fresh mozzarella. All under $60!!! For two people! Definitely can’t wait to come back.
We went for lunch today at the new location - Harrison and 22nd Street. They apparently had their 'soft' opening yesterday so we were in on the first day fully open. There were some problems, and we gave them feedback. We ordered a wine as soon as we were seated. It was about 20 minutes before it was brought to the table even though we could see the wine bucket on a table next to the kitchen and the bottle and glasses left sitting on the bar. My husband ordered the cannelloni and I had a taste of it. The chicken filling was dry and the crepe had been broiled to melt the cheese which turned it into something like leather. I had the tomato-basil soup which was delicious (but the floating pieces of basil were dry and tough like it was cut a few days ago). I had the steamed mussels appetizer which was plenty for lunch, but when I asked our server about the size of the portion she just said 'a lot,' not 'two dozen,' or 'one pound.' The mussels in a garlic-wine broth were delicious, but needed bread to soak up the liquid. I asked for it, but it didn't arrive until after I had finished all two dozen mussels. We mentioned all of this to the young woman who seemed to be in charge. The menu and prices are comparable to Piazza Gavi, but as yet they don't measure up in service or preparation. We'll wait a month and give them another chance.
This delightful eatery is tucked back in the corner of a strip mall along Oracle Road. It is both quaint and romantic. They have an outdoor eating area that is well shaded from the Arizona sun, and an air condition indoor area for those of us who are unable to weather the heat. The service here is impeccable, and the multiple staff members watch over your table with attentiveness and with consideration of your privacy. The food of course is excellent. Why else would it be here for five years traversing the debilitating pandemic era. I had the Pesto Penne Pasta and it was very good, they serve a table basket of warm bread that was perfect. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan and said it was very good. My only minus was that our table for two was terribly close to the adjoining tables for two - much to close for comfort. Overall a good experience, and worth a visit.
I've been here 16 years I'm Italian and from New Jersey New York LOL the owners from New Jersey and Italian the best Italian food I've had in 16 years
