My wife and I just ate lunch at the Gourmet Girls. The special of the day was patty melt sandwich with a creamy dressing. We both ordered the special. I have never had a more tasteless and dry patty melt ever, anywhere. The creamy dressing was bland, the meat patties were tasteless and rather dry, and the onions had almost no flavor. When we checked out and were asked how everything was, I told the guy at the register I had never had a worse patty melt. His response? “That sucks when that happens. That will be $45.00!” No apology, no nothing. We will never go back.

The food is delicious! I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was fantastic!! I also had the best sugar free chocolate cupcake I have ever tasted! If you are someone with a special diet this is the place to dine in Tucson!!!!!!

What a treat to eat at a place entirely gluten free. Their sandwiches, cookies and cakes are excellent.

Our first time visiting last week while on vacation, great service and food. My only concern was my baked oatmeal had a paper liner that wasn't removed before it was served to me. I couldn't figure out why I was having a difficult time chewing oatmeal. If it is supposed to be served with the liner on it I would have liked to have been told to be aware of it.

Lovely cafe, some of the best GF bread I've had in 25 years since Celiac diagnosis. My non-GF partner was impressed with the pretzel roll and the salad was tasty, but the lettuce needed cutting up. I had a pretty amazing pannini sandwich with perfect meat/cheese/avocado proportions. And let's not forget their house made potato chips! I don't eat nightshades very often, but these chips were worth it-just thick/thin enough and crispy. The prices initially seemed high, but the portions were consistent with the value. I also bought a french loaf, finally got home and had some 2 days later and it was still wonderful. We snarfed the chocolate sweet bread which was a bit crumbly, but still moist. I wanted to buy one of everything, but other sampling will have to wait for a return trip to Tucson.

The food was very good! Had the pancake sandwich with sausage and egg. Very tasty! Also in our group we had biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak with potatoes and French bread toast. Everyone was very happy with their food. Would definitely go back.

I'll start by saying the food was delicious, and the menu has a lot of options which is nice for people who usually can't eat out anywhere because of food allergies. HOWEVER, my experience was tainted by the fact that the owners made me feel like I was an unwelcome inconvenience to them for coming in. I arrived about 15 min prior to their closing and asked for a to-go menu to look at- the owner saw this and bellowed over the counter "just so you know the kitchen closes in 5 minutes!" with a very annoyed tone. After I ordered the food I was met with more distinct annoyance from the server along with some sarcastic comments after i complemented the restaurant on being awesome for being dedicated gluten-free. I've never seen a place act so irritated for having good business- i spent over $75 in there! As much as I want to love this place i don't want to be made to feel bad anytime i want to dine here. Really disappointed :( likely won't be back because of the poor customer service.

It's really hard to find things for kids who have a gluten intolerance or may have lots of food allergies and this restaurant really hits a home run and offering choices and of course those same choices can be applied to adults. However if you're just a kind of person who's not really have to be gluten free you can still have salads or fruit or eggs and meat and the focus does not have to be on some type of gluten free pasta or bread. It's really nice for people to have choices that are designed for them so they can feel included and and not excluded were where the norm is on the menu is everything that they can eat. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I'm always so happy to support a locally owned business that really goes out of its way to give choices to people who need choices. I went twice while I was there. The people I were with had the cinnamon roll French toast with fresh fruit which they really enjoyed, Is another person had the blueberry pancakes which they also thought were light light and tasty. I had a scoop of chicken salad and side of the house salad. Everything was good and tasty and if you're into and if you're into gluten free this is the place to go to.

I ordered the breakfast quesadia and it was OK. It was supposed to have sausage in it and it did have a slight sausage flavor with one actual bite of sausage. I had to ask for more salsa because they brought about two tablespoons in a little cup for the entire meal. The breakfast potatoes were the best I've ever had. I tasted my husband's toast and thought it was awful. Why not use some of the more tasty gluten free flours? Make a mixture that is flavourful. We bought some cupcakes at a steep price to give them a try. I had one and didn't like the flavor of the cake. The frosting was super sugary with large crystals as decor on top. The cupcakes didn't seem fresh but kind of dried out...frosting and all.

Our first visit was November of 2014 and we've been coming on occasion since then. It was a bit of a drive from Madison Wisconsin. Now we live here, and the thing is GGGFB hasn't changed much in 8 years. It remains the best gluten-free restaurant we've been to. It always delights. Take your time and look around, especially in the take-and-bake freezer. Desserts are insane. Just sayin.
