Now that we’ve finally made it out here , THIS is ‘our place’ to go for sushi! We’ve been searching Tucson for a place that would rate comparably to our favorite place on LI and it’s been a tough ride. This place , is better than our favorite place in NY. The atmosphere , the cuisine, the servers , all wonderful . Genuine authentic Japanese cuisine and everything coalesced into a great experience. We will definitely be back. We even got a little chat with our server about the culture, the types of sake and more. Very helpful and extremely delightful to talk with.
True experience of Sushi and Sashimi in Tucson, AZ. It is far better than any other sushi restaurants and never has disappointed us. Must try Toro and Uni...just to die for.
Great place for sushi in Tucson. Good selection of dishes, the Hamachi Kama is excellent!! Sushi is fresh and well prepared. Great ambiance for being with friends and family. Friendly and helpful staff. It's definitely a go-to sushi restaurant!
Food and portions were pretty good here. The salmon sashimi were large and yummy. The udon broth was quite flavorless and disappointing though. I would definitely rate it higher, but the good have both me an my partner bad stomach problems at night.
This place is the best sushi I’d have ever experienced in my life. Everything they have are delicious. Authentic Japanese restaurant. If you ever visit this area you have to try it. You’ll never disappointed. I would recommend make a reservation they get really busy.
Excellent staff, atmosphere, food, drinks, and prices. Hands down the best spot for sushi in all of Tucson, maybe even Arizona. If you're looking for an authentic Tokyo experience, this is the spot. 11/10 ??
I’m very surprised that we had such a nice sushi restaurant in town, nigiri is very good. The reason I give 4 stars because they have no customer service, but I still highly recommend here due to the only sushi restaurant in Tucson
Ginza - where have you been all my life!?!?!For the last 5 years, since i moved to Tucson, i have been complaining that i can’t get any good sushi…. Well, that moaning has ended.Jun (the chef and owner) has knocked it out of the park with Ginza! We sat at the bar and were lucky enough to be sitting right in front of him. The flown in daily Blue Fin Chu Toro and Maguro was awesome! And he followed that up with a special gold flaked “Christmas Roll” which was his seasonal spin on a shrimp tempura roll.My girlfriend had spicy ramen, and loved it!The food was a 10 and service was even better. From top to bottom staff was incredibly friendly and shared Jun’s passion for the cuisine. We are excited to move Ginza into our regular restaurant rotation!
It’s more authentic and tender seafood. Portions are not as huge as a chain sushi bar’s. I love it because it’s clean, cozy place, and enjoy every moment of a meeting with you taste, not hanging out, not is rush. It’s like a dating without your inner self and your inner food critic
Wife wanted sushi for her bday and this place did not disappoint. She enjoyed all of her choices from tuna to shrimp. Ever item was fresh and our server ( Kumi?) was very attentive. I would go back again.
