The vegetable samosas are as big as your hand and really fresh with the chutneys too!! We highly recommend this fantastic staple of Tucson.
Probably the worst fake Indian food I've ever had. I think maybe if two 16 year olds from taco Bell saw a YouTube video on how to make Indian food then went to the dollar store and bought like three ingredients and opened a restaurant it would be better than the food I got last night. Indian food is supposed to have depth and flavor and character this food had none of that no spice just old spoiled meat with a can of coconut milk dumped over the top and a light dusting of curry powder. If I hadn't have worked a 14-hour day or if I had tried the food before I left the restaurant I would have returned it.
I love this restaurant, one of the best Indian places in Tucson in my opinion. The staff is always extremely helpful and very friendly, the food is top notch. Always made very fresh extremely traditional, even if you're just grabbing lunch. They make you feel that you're eating at a Michelin star restaurant.
Not a whole lot of choices though the food is very good so we keep going back, we are vegans. Price is more than reasonable. Service is good.
We found this gem on our Tucson visit in January and we went back this last March and loved it both times. It is a small, family owed restaurant and the neighborhood is a little sketchy. But for lunch, I would recommend it! A small buffet but every dish is exquisite and we ate way too much both times because it is so tasty. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is homey and sweet.
Very good buffet until 3 pm. Healthy food at a fair price. I recommend.
This is the second time I have eaten here, and both times the food has been delicious. Food came out quite fast and the server lady was very respectful. This time I had Lamb Korma, and it was so full of flavor and scents, it was great!!The environment does help to make you live the whole experience. I shall go again on my next visit to Tucson.
Their chicken Tika masala, super hot, is awesome. Their lamb vindiloo(spelling?), super hot, is phenomenal
Cozy place in what's left of an old strip mall. The inside was furnished well. Bright, neat and clean are probably the best adjectives on the inside, it was clear the staff and owners take pride in their restaurant. We were met by staff immediately upon entering who were friendly and attentive. The buffet looked appetizing but ultimately I ordered off the menu to go. Paper menus for to go orders were available. The food was very delicious and filling. While the cost per plate was right around the $10 point where Google changes the cost from $ to $$ the amount of food you get is definitely sizable. I got 2 entrees, 2 pieces of Naan and a side of rice and mu girlfriend and I ate basically 2 full meals for just over $20.Bottom line. A very great experience with quality food at an affordable price.
Buffet is an excellent way to revisited their offerings. I wish there was a way to spice it up a bit, but flawless execution and customer service make up for that.
