We headed to Frost for dessert after having lunch at nearby Wildflower Restaurant. Frost is conveniently located off of Oracle in a strip mall with free off-street parking. It can be crowded out front, but there is packing in the back. Frost offers a wide variety of both gelato flavors and sorbets. Some are traditional flavors and others a more unique. Our trio did bellini (peaches and champaign), black cherry and mocha chip. The small cup was just the right size for a little dessert. They were priced just under $4. There was limited indoor seating with just 2 tables and a few chairs but additional seating outdoors if you can manage the heat. Good service and friendly wait staff. Looking forward to going back soon and trying a new flavor!
Do you like gelato? This place has great unique flavors. My favorite is strawberry cheesecake and salted carmel. There are lots more. One of best.
Best Ice cream in town in my opinion. Well worth it to come! I always get half sea salt caramel, half Chocolate Hazelnut. The two pair up very nicely! The staff is usually very nice. I've only had a couple bad experiences, but that is just when the teenagers are working unattended in which they are rude and eat ice cream and don't wash their hands. But that specific experience was only once. Otherwise all other experiences have been wonderful. I've been coming here for 4+ years or so now. :)
Frost is a must have visit in Tucson or Phoenix AZ! It is so delicious. They have fabulous flavors & if you don’t want Gelato they offer fruit Sorbet flavors & even a dietetic flavor or two so there is something for everyone at Frost. It is especially refreshing on a hot Arizona day! I highly recommend Frost!
I never leave reviews good or bad. This is a first. I've been coming to Frost for years and I've never had a bad experience. Good gelato, great employees always super pleasant. I've dealt with this girl now 3 times and asked her name, it's Emma and she's so rude and impolite and unprofessional. I won't be going back until she leaves, hopefully soon. I heard her say F U to another girl there. She rolls her eyes. When I asked for a sample that I didn't love she said "I swear to God" and shook her head. Please hire better people!!!
Omg, this is the best tasting Gelato with many yummy flavors! It is lower in calories and lower in carbs than ice cream. We go there once/week to get quart sized Gelato. Lasts us all week AND my husband does the Zoom program and has lost 70 lbs. Not bad for eating Frost's Gelato most nights!
I love the gelato at frost and have never had any issues til Sunday. The young woman that helped me made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She didn’t have an ounce of courtesy.
The gelato here is amazing but the young employee with glasses and blonde hair literally could not have seemed more miserable. She spoke 0 words as I asked for 2 samples and looked at me with the meanest face I’ve ever seen! I am a full grown adult and this 16 year old girl was making myself and other adults in the establishment uncomfortable. The 2 young men who were working with the longer hair were so kind and so smiley, so they made up for glasses girl’s poor bratty attitude.
The gelato was absolutely delicious. I was happy to be able to sample a few flavors before deciding which one to get. I went with one scoop of pistachio and one scoop of tiramisu but I don’t think you could’ve gone wrong with any flavor! They even brought out a little pup cup for my dog, Honey, which she loved. The outdoor seating was spacious and perfect with half in the shade and half in the sun. Thank you so much!
Frost is delicious, although I don't think I have had any Gelato to compare it to. I like that you can put multiple flavors in the cups.We have had the Frost cakes multiple times. It can be hard to time serving it as it goes from hard to pretty soft fairly quickly, but it's good :). Sure, sometimes some flavors are out (but there are plenty of others), floors need a moping (ice cream gets dripped and tracked) and the young people behind the counter don't have the absolute best attitude (they're learning, I get it).See my review on Sauce next door before deciding to eat there before having Frost, though.
