Tried Freddy’s today for the first, and last, time. No fast food restaurant that I personally have visited has ever told me that by placing an order through the app, you’ll have to pick it up inside. They ALL have an option for curbside or drive-thru. Not only that, they got my order wrong. And the burger meat is so thin and crumbly and tasteless. I really don’t get the appeal. Way to go guys. Way to make a first impression.
Pulled into the drive thru at exactly 11:04AM and waited and waited, backed up to activate the "bell" and waited, through an entire song, commercials and another half song. Nothing. Drive up to the window at 11:13 and wait and wait. Awhile after watching three employees chatter, "Caitlin" put on her headset and walked around looking confused. She opened the window and said "yeah?" Accompanied by an eye roll. Huh? "yeah?" WTAF she then tells me she was having issues with her headset, I told her I watched her put it on after about three minutes of chit chatting. My very simple order was rung up at 11:18 after plenty more eye rolls from "Caitlin" and order was received at 11:25.Not the way to get repeat customers. Not the way to retain then either.
My kids and I love Freddy's and we don't normally eat fast food. This place has been slowly getting worse as far as attention to detail. (They're probably short-staffed like the rest of us.) More times than I can count, I get a diet and regular soda with no indication of which is which. They have to dump and redo. They ask if you want ketchup or sauce. I say no. I get a bunch anyway. This time, I was completely missing an order of fries which was sad because it was my son's birthday lunch and I didn't notice until we got home. So... I guess we're not going to get Freddy's anymore unless we happen to be near another location.
I don't normally leave negative reviews but this was very frustrating. Pulled into the drive thru.. no answer.. ok we pull up to the window where there is a car in front of us. (Mind you were just here to pick up a doordash order) the "customer" was just having a nice ol long conversations with the tall young male employee.. it didn't even seem as if he was buying anything they were laughing and joking and made some sort of transaction. So he finally pulls off, we pull up to grab the doordash order and he tells us "oh sorry instore pickup only" which is ridiculous because we sat there for a good 15 minutes with 0 communication from anyone. I walk inside to pick up the order and its just sitting on the counter. So the employees here can't take 2 steps to turn around and hand an ofder go someone through the window, but they can spend 20 minutes chopping it up with their buddy in the drive through window and completely ignore anyone that comes through teh speaker. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here. Horrible service for our customer and any of theirs.
Freddy's burgers are ALWAYS GOOD. Fresh, juicy, flavorful, and tasty. And fries are the best. The fry sauce is the bomb. I buy bottles for home along with the seasoning salt.
I went to Freddy's on Broadway in Tucson. I heard they have fish sandwiches and baskets. I didn't see it on menu on line nor at drive thru. So I asked and they did. Don't know why not on menu's. Kinda pricey but I purchased them. I asked specifically several.times for tarder sauce and their sauce on side no other sauces including no ketchup. I got ketchup and had to ask 2 more times for tarder sauce. The fish basket was 4 tiny fillets w alot of batter. Two had hard chunks of fish in it. Spit that out. The sandwich had 2 of those fillets on it. The fish was nothing to brag home about. Arby's by far was bigger tender perfect flaky fillets. Bigger than bun. I guess I know why the fish isn't on Freddy's menu. Don't know why they sell it.
Waste of $37! Worst grilled chicken sandwich I ever ate! The chicken was chewy and my fry’s where cold. My sandwiches had no sauce on them. My dirt and warms had a hair in it! This place is the worst absolutely disgusting! I won’t ever come back here. Its not worth wasting ur money on.
Their burgers are great along with the frozen custard. The one I go to the people that work there are very nice and polite.
My all time favorite burger, have to drive 20 miles to get one , hoping they build one on the south side, great food great service
Great place, good food, fast service. Pleasant experience overall, we will be back!
