We had a lovely dinner the other night however two major things to be aware of. First, the wine list is grossly out of date. The vintages listed are not what are presented at table. Buyer beware.Second one of my dining companions ordered a full rack off ribs that came out super dry and over cooked. Now, I only dropped one star because the manager comped that meal and dessert for the trouble. The service staff and the rest of the meal was top notch. But, if a restaurant is charging resort prices they have to be on their A game especially with wine and with BBQ in the Southwest.

From the bougainvillea, cacti, and koi-filled pond in the foreground to the amazing Catalina Mountain vistas behind Loews Ventana, the Flying V restaurant offers an unparalleled setting for a romantic evening. We enjoyed an indulgent three-course dinner, and each selection was well-plated and nicely cooked. Service was generally good, and it would be nice if the fantastic live guitar music was available on the patio. The Flying V is our new go-to for any special-occasion meal!

Sorry no photo available was to busy enjoying EVERYTHING to mess with my phone. Service Food Drinks were amazing. 2 taco appetizer was juicy and cooked to perfection. The burger was seasoned and grilled like a boss. The quesadilla de pollo was melt in your mouth. 10/10 recommend this restaurant

The food was great, but our service was not. Our server seemed new, or distracted, but took almost 20 minutes to even acknowledge us after we were seated. Then took another 10 minutes to come back to take our drink order. And then another 15 to bring our drinks. We were seated near the bar and could see they were keeping up. The server was a little more attentive later on but we felt for the price here, it should have been a little better. Again, maybe just a rough night for them. Overall great food, nice cocktails, and nice ambience.

Amazing ambiance! Sat at the bar while we waited for a table near the water. Beautiful views. The service was impeccable and the food was top notch. Would highly recommend for a special evening.

We had the valentine dinner. With duck breast and a scallop.Duck was the worst. Tough and fatty. They gave me another dinner, same story duck was tough and fatty. No breast for sure. They comped my meal which was nice.Beautuful setting, took an hour to get our table candle lit. Average service. Pricey for the amount of food you get.Would not eat there again.

We ate at Flying V on Wednesday, February 16. The ambiance is very warm and relaxing. We had several rounds of cocktails - which were very good. Flying V has a special guacamole appetizer that is typically prepared table side but was not due to the pandemic. We order that and it was exceptional. I had their chicken dish as an entree and my wife had the BBQ ribs. My chicken was good but a bit dry. The ribs were excellent. The high-lite of the visit was our server Cole. Cole timed everything perfectly....which is an art in the restaurant business. He was exceptionally professional. His accommodating style was truly appreciated. Great job. Highly recommended.

We originally reserved patio dining but the weather turned exceptionally windy & cold. It took a little time for them to find room inside for us but they graciously did so. We had a lovely meal and the food was excellent. The bar gets very busy ...seems to be an "it" place with guests and Ventana residents living nearby... so be sure to reserve well ahead. Husband had one of the best steaks of our entire trip. Service was busy but excellent.

Simple yet elegant, service is attentive and the chef knows how to create flavors! One of the best meals I've had here in Tucson. Nestled in the beautiful Catalina Foothills of Tucson at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.

Atmosphere and wait staff good. Guitar players was the best thing. Ribeye was well done. I ordered medium. Guac was good. I really could taste the lime. Brussel sprouts overdone and dry.
