Owner is nice & professional. Staff not so much sadly. I understand it's not McDonald's but when you're ignored and left for 15-20 minutes just to order your meal it's definitely not a good start to the 1st time eating there. I ordered a club sandwich & my wife ordered a quesadilla. It's then took another 30+ minutes with NO SITE OF OUR FOOD STILL (on a slow day). We finally left and the waiter (Annie) had the nerve to say that I was being rude for addressing the long wait time. I will never return there which is sad because the food smelled delicious. Too bad I never got to actually SEE the food. Nobody is perfect but it's childishness to resort to being rude because someone called you out on poor service.
Super expensive. We had 7 wings, chips and salsa, a quesadilla, an order of sliders, a side of potato salad, two beers and 4 shooters and our bill was $110. If we had gone to Barrio Brewery our bill would’ve been more like $60, tops. Never going here again.
A good place have drink. Local bikers fighting with girl friends. More of a dive brewery lol
Three of us ate at this local brewery this past week, and what a pleasant surprise! Daniela was our server. She was friendly and so efficient, gave me good information on the IPAs available.I chose to try the wings, naked, with a sauce on the side. They were truly smoked, unlike other places where they use “smoke seasoning” … probably some of the best smoked meat I’ve ever had. My two friends had pulled pork and they both agreed it was delicious. We will definitely be returning here!
We are a fan of breweries and always make a point to go to a few local establishments when we go to a new town. This was not far from were we were staying and we thought we would give it a try. The only positive I can give for this place is that they have a decent patio that allows dogs. We initially started inside seated at the bar, but quickly realized this place was incredibly short staffed and inside wasn't much to look at. I will give them some grace for being short staffed, but it took forever to find staff to get help/order from etc. After we were able to get someone to take our order, we decided to move outside. I think there was like one server working, so many tables needed to be cleared/cleaned etc ( i wanted to actually go bus the tables just to just make it look better)..but we were able to get a clean table. In regards to the drinks, they were limited on their beers because several kegs had tapped out (maybe the night before), so they were just out of stuff, which was just unfortunate, but it happens. I think maybe there were 5 of their brews available. For lack of a better description, the beers we tried were unmemorable and seemed flat. We also got pretzels with the 3 dipping sauces for a snack. Don't do it, the sauces were not decent and the pretzels tasted like nothing (no flavor). I think this place has potential and maybe we just hit it on a bad day, but kinda wished we had not wasted our time here.
I wish I could grant more than five stars because those wings sure are a solid 10. Best wings I have ever had, and I love wings. The dry rub and the smoked combination are heaven. Honestly, I love getting the naked wings for the purest taste of their rub and smoker. The pretzel twists with the sauce trio are also a hit! Love making this local place a staple in my life!
I was staying at the Sheraton down the street from the FBC, and just happened to drive by and thought to try it out one night. The food was delicious! I got the Smoked wings, which were incredible, and a tri tip sandwich which was also excellent. The beers they brew in house were a perfect way to wash down some great food. Certainly worth a visit if you are looking for some BBQ and beer.
We had the world’s nicest server which was the best part of our quick visit here.We ordered a few apps and some beers after a long day of hiking among the Saguaros. The wings were delicious - we ordered them naked with the BBQ and Mild Sauce in the side. Our friends had the pretzel which looked yummy. And all the beers were pretty good although not super robust in flavor. They were running out of beer - the Hazy was out and the Mexican Lager was tapped which is was unfortunate. Also they couldn’t get any of there standing heaters to work and the patio sure was chilly.I think with a little more attention to detail and TLC, this place could be great. The potential is certainly there.
... as with many other beer serving places: beer and food seldomcome together. This one no exception: nice beer - mediocre food. Please, get us right: nothing terrible, just mediocre MEAT in ... ARIZONA!It would be 4 for the same arrangement somewhere in DC/MD.But AZ ... disappointed. That, however, does NOT mean we will NOT visit the establishment again, once we are in the area.
They were out of 4 of their 10 listed beers. No one could cross them out? False advertising lol. Service very slow, wineglass dirty and bar not clean or cleared. Will not be back.
