In my humble option the server should be aware of what the restaurant is out of and inform the customer prior to taking their order. It's not fun to order a beverage or food only to discover it's not available. Overall presentation of the food was nice on most of the dishes. The Southwest Deviled Eggs were pretty bland not fitting the description on the menu. Escargot where simply placed on the plate and with regular bread not Pretzel Bread as noted in the description. The table ordered Adult S'More which sat easily for 10 minutes or more melting the ice cream to the point it was pretty unappealing to look at. Our server couldn't find her lighter making in order to Flambé the desert. The Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding was interesting, not what I expected and drenched in sugar sauce. Our server was definitely not on her game that night. To end on a positive note - Flavors in each of the entrees we did get, Anarchist's Surf and Turf, Mussel Newburg and the Anarchist's Surf and Turf (Smoked Pepper Pastrami Sandwich unavailable so two of the guest, disappointed ordered salad) was delightful.
Decor looked shabby. Noise level didnât allow conversation . It took an 1:15 min to get food. Escargot was awfulâ¦overcooked, dried out, no butter no French bread with it. Entrees weâre good. Waiter, Josh, was excellent. Understaffed â¦.waiter required to tend bar as well. Do not recommend it to my friends
To be honest, we use to really like Dante's Fire. We have been disappointed the last two or three times we went. This time, the Stolen Burger used good meat but the presentation was lacking. Yes, it came with way too many fries but no onions etc. The Butternut Squash salad somehow did not taste right...and the Thai Curry Shrimp was under cooked. The thing that was most annoying was the music selection and the ultra loud volume it was broadcast in. No way to carry on a conversation.
Food was amazing and the cocktails and mock tails also so good! The portion size was very large is my only criticism. Such an unexpected jewel
Just thought it was noisy and for some reason was asked to sit at a table for two on a quiet night. The food was good.
Service was fast and friendly, Fod and drinks were great.
I've had good take out here before, but dining in tonight was another level.First things first, the cocktails are creative and taste on point and the bread is a wonderful, fluffy promise of the food to come.I usually get the Monte Cristo because, come on, just look at it. The sauce, the texture, and its surrounded by a moat of crisp, flavorful fries. Seriously, they're good as take out, but they shine just out of the fryer.Shout out to Josh, who was holding the whole place down by himself.
This was my first time at Dante's Fire; some friends brought me when I was visiting Tucson. The atmosphere was relaxed, our waiter, Josh, was very sociable, as well as knowledgeable about the food offerings, beers and wines. We had the chorizo sliders as an appetizer, followed by the butternut squash salad and escargot. Everything was exceptional! I'll be sure to return when I am again in Tucson.
Excellent food. We had Chef Ken's Iron Chef award winning pork dish. It was delicious and loved his cucumber bowl salad! Great service by our server too.
I ordered a burger medium and it came out raw. Not mid-rare, raw. It was still cold in the middle. I certainly will not return to have them mess up my order again.
