Breakfast coffee

Visiting Tucson, my traveling companion & I gave it a try.Looks smaller from the outside than was revealed when we arrived.A nice menu &, finally, a place with a basic breakfast vs other places we've tried who offer stomach busting options (with equally high prices).

This is a humble restaurant that offers a well prepared variety of breakfast food. My favorite part of this place is the coffee cups. I have never asked, but I assume that they are all rescued from thrift shops. Definitely a place to visit. Go early though, because it does fill up quickly.

Mother's Day breakfast. First time here. Jackie our waitress is AMAZING!!!!! Coffee cake is best I've had in town. Prices reasonable, Cafe layout isn't super tight and crowded little they sometimes are. Daughter and I have decided this is now our spot cause it's wonderful! Clean, service is great, staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!! Will be a repeat customer ourselves. The cinnamon roll French toast was yummy, biscuits are huge, silverware was clean, bathroom was clean. Even busy this morning Jackie took time to chat with us. Come in and ask four Jackie!!!!! She's the reason breakfast was extra special this morning!!!!

This was one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had. I came here with my toddler who is extremely naughty most of the time, but our waitress, I think it was shannon was so nice to my little girl. She made extra time to bring her crayons and made her feel real comfortable. She was laughing the whole time she didn’t even have time to be naughty! 100% recommend. Shannon also managed to give my kid extra attention while also providing efficient service to everyone around. I noticed she did this to everyone, not just me cause my kid was cute. If you go there ask for shannon! Also the pancakes are delicious! Especially the banana ones

I don’t normally write reviews and I think generally complaints should be handled at the source. But….I went to the crying onion today about 11:45. It was full but most tables had their food. We were seating pretty quickly. Shannon came over to take our order. Two sandwiches. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food. When I finally got Shannon’s attention I asked if she forgot to put our order in. And she was SO rude. Never had a person in customer service speak to me that way. She then turned her back to me and would only speak to my friend. At the end of the meal I asked another employee for the manager or owner. I was informed they only show up occasionally and there was no way to talk to either one. So here we are. I truly hope Shannon gets some better customer service training. I won’t be going back to find out

Amazing!!! The biscuits and gravy are delicious. The pancakes are too good to pass up and I don’t usually order pancakes but these are thin like crepe’s. Great prices. Always fast and friendly service. We were in and out in 35 minutes. Table for two!

Where to start? I am being generous giving one star. We went there because my sister in-law said it had good food. What a mistake. We ordered our breakfast items. My husband got his order then they brought out half of mine. We sat waiting for my sister in laws food. Seriously it was about 15 min later he brings her eggs. We tell him she had bacon and wheat toast also. He never returns with the bacon or toast. Why on earth would anyone return there? We will not recommend them. Food was cold and was afraid to let them know because we might not get new food.

Excellent food and the service is superb highly highly recommend for breakfast and lunch I love this place

Alamo omelet was outstanding. Lots of beef and the perfect amount of peppers. Service was fast, accurate and professional. Very polite and charming. Wish they were open longer so I could eat all three meals there every day. Crispiest English muffin ever. Excellent.. Be patient. Staffing has been an issue like everywhere. It's worth the wait.
