Only been there once so far but I am sold on the food. I was looking for a long john silver's and they are all closed in Tucson. This place is exactly the same food maybe even better... I will definitely go back and recommend...
The food was very well seasoned and the temperature of the food was very good. The young lady that worked the front was both polite and professional. I will visit again.
Looks like a dive but it's awesome fish. Best I've had in a while. We will be going back. The breading is delicious. Prices are reasonable too!
Ate at Crispy’s last night was very disappointed fish was tasteless fry’s were under cooked and greasy. Hush puppies tasted like they came out of a bag. When we first going there food was excellent this time not so much paid over $ 50.00 for 2 of us not worth it we won’t be back
The guy who took our order never even said hi, he looked like this was the last place he wanted to be and was quite annoyed to take our order. The drink machine said the ice wasn't working so I asked if they had some in the back-just annoying him with our presence further. Was given ice, went for soda.... FLAT! Super gross. Terrified to ask for more ice. Waited about 20 minutes for some good food. Everything was fried perfectly. The fried pickles were my fav. Tacos had more breading than fish, but were still good. The piece of Cod from the lunch special was hearty and delicious, chicken was average. The lunch special really is a good deal if you don't need a drink to go with it.
I've been living in the area for over a year now and had seen this place. I'd been wanting to try it for the longest time hoping it was like Pirate's Fish & Chips in Chandler. Nope, I was wrong. We went there yesterday and ordered the lunch special which is one shrimp, one piece of cod, one chicken strip, fries and a fountain drink for 6.00. The value, outstanding! Quality, not so much. All three pieces were dipped in the same batter but it had no flavor. As soon as the basket was placed in front of me, I smelled the oil the food was fried in. It smelled old. The whole basket tasted like the old oil. I was very disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day?
This is BY FAR the best fish place in Tucson, it’s as good as I’ve found on both the East and West coasts. It’s our favorite fish almost anywhere that’s land locked. The portions are generous and always hot and delicious!
First time trying this place and it was great! Had the lemon pepper wings, $1 each on Mondays up to 5, the coleslaw and my mom had the cod. The wings were perfectly seasoned, moist and had a lot of meat on every bone! The slaw was delicious! Not too sweet and the cod had great flavor! Great prices too!
Love love their shrimp done to perfection. Very nice light batter. Service is always great,, helpful, fast. They brought food to car even.
I have been going to Crispys since they first opened. Then the food was excellent and very reasonable. Now the past two times I have been there the food has been different both times nothing like the very first time I went when they first opened. Then it was like homade like the fish came in bulk in a bag then they would bread it, the onion rings were like hand cut then breaded and the shrimp was to die for. This time you could tell the onion rings and the fish were straight out of a box, very disappointing. Plus the price of my fish and shrimp has gone way up and you don't even get coleslaw with it!!! I probably won't be going back there again my meal was definitely not worth the money I paid!!!???
