Customer Service has gone downhill lately, overcooked food (steak), no clearing of plates, and no checking in from the bartender when eating in the bar area. Spoke with the manager on duty and told them we have waited 45 minutes since we've seen our waitress/bartender, and still waiting for the bill and their response was that you can pay through the computer on the table. This is a dine-in restaurant, right? If I wanted a drive-through experience I would have gone somewhere else. Think I've given up on this place but used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson.
Good food and drinks with a great ambience. The servers are very friendly. They have crafted cocktails which you won’t find on most common menus. A good choice for a dinner.
Wonderful customer service and the food and the the butter honey croissants very delicious, like always. I got the ribs and coconut shrimp and my partner had the stake with veggies. Always good meals sice I use to go in McAllen, Texas more then 20 years ago. I have like 6 year here in Tucson and makes me feel like I at home.
Never tried cheddar. First time here. Came out for our anniversary. The menu seemed kinda bland basic american style. But I was greatly surprised with the flavors of everything. The painkiller sause that comes with the coconut shrimp is delicious. The rolls amazing, even the steak. Just WOW! My taste buds are in heaven. The server Ariela was very pleasant and attentive. She was ontop of refills. Restaraunt is clean. We will deffinitly be back. Thank you for the amazing food and service.
This was a great experience...had a short wait and enjoyed looking at the beautiful fish tank and the unique fans. I had the Lemon pepper white fish with broccoli and a loaded baked potato. The fish and white rice amazing the broccoli good and good costumer service but but the potato was not for me it only had sour cream and cheese how is that loaded if it hadn't been for the misrepresented loaded baked potato this would have been 5 stars easy...I even enjoyed the spinach dip which is usually not my thing and the chicken tenders were excellent. So close to a 5 star, jazz up the baked potato and guaranteed I'll update my review! I will definitely be eating here again in the near future.
Was really excited to dine here tonight because I had been here when they first opened and I had an amazing experience that first time. Sadly it wasn't so tonight. I ordered the country fried steak and got mashed potatoes and the broccoli side. Everything was super peppery and I just couldn't finish it. The pic is what I couldn't eat. I asked the waitress if they could possibly make me some gravy without pepper bit she said no because they make it in big batches. Oh well. The cheese thingies were good tho!
We came in to have dinner and the hostess said “we can’t sit you we’re running out of food and our manager said we can’t sit anyone else” didn’t even say hello just right off the bat tell us to leave, how can a National chain run out of food? Horrible customer service look into getting better hostess that actually have customer service skills.
I was so dissapointed on everything that went on that night. First of all we were a big party of 14 and since they don't have reservations we had to wait an hour and a half for a "big table" when we finally got sat down they gave us 3 different booths were we could not see each other. It didnt even feel like we were together like we waited that long just so we were seated separetely. We were so hungry that we didn't even complain about it anymore, we thought the food was gonna be worth the wait. Wrong!!! The food was another dissapointment, the birthday boy ordered ribs, and they were super dry almost burnt, I ordered pasta and was dry (no sauce) extremely salty and overal a dissapointment. My family flew from El Salvador to celebrate my husbands birthday and got very dissapointed. The only good thing was the alcoholic drink which most of my family doesnt drink. You failed me cheddar's I used to love it here.
Went to an early lunch with a friend...sun just before opening and there was already a line....but once opened were seated promptly and server was very attentive. Portions were very large..food was hot.the drink I got was very good..I did not like that there was syrup or something on the outside of glass like for decoration..it just made my hands sticky and table sticky everywhere. Otherwise good experience and reasonably priced
Drinks were delayed but good when we finally got them. Food- Coconut shrimp was soggy not crispy at all mashed potatoes were room temperature if that, Cheddar's would not be my 1st recommendation! Our server did not once clear our table from any empty dishes unless I asked if she could take them which left our table a party of 8 very cramped, she never asked me once if I wanted a refill or another drink. 1st and last experience with Cheddar's. Hopefully your dining experienced will be a bit better than ours, it kind of ruined our family member's job promotion celebration.
