Awesome Sauce !!! everything was delicious !

Food was good, service was agonizingly slow. To top it off, we ordered a bowl of soup to go, the waitress delivered what is shown in the photo. I even asked "This is the bowl, not the cup?". She assured me that this was the $9.50 bowl of soup. Oh and when I asked if we could get another bowl, she stated that there was no more, only some in a big chunk of frozen soup that was thawing, so from that I take it the soup is not fresh either. Not happy with our visit, don't know if we can talk ourselves into going again.

I heard a lot of really good things about this place. Being from New York, I do have high standards for Italian food. The service was good but I found that the lasagna was super oily and greasy. The sauce was okay but did have a bit of a burned taste to it, almost like the sauce sat on high heat for too long and burned on the bottom.

Outstanding Italian fare on 4th. In town for a U of A graduation from Chicago and my wife had a taste for Italian. Caruso's was right around the corner, ordered carry out. The meatballs were perfect and the sauce was magical. We spent the meal discussing what the special spice was but the chicken and eggplant Parm were the standouts. Fresh, reasonably priced perfect portions. Very happy.

My favorite place to eat in Tucson. Dining outside has a unique historical charm! Always amazing food ?

A Tucson classic. This is the place to go for Old School red checkered tablecloth Italian food. The lasagna is amazing and for most people it’s two meals.

This is definitely NOT the Caruso's we all loved for great food and service .. today you will get none of that.. Over spiced sauce is bitter... Gone is the delicious Italian flavor from before... I have eaten here since the early 70s... I used to LOVE it... I went back after not visiting for about 6 years . It's trash... don't waste your money here... terrible food, bad service, and definitely NOT the same experience

We came here on a Friday night without a reservation, brut we were early (5pm) and were seated immediately. Let me start with the best thing about our experience, the service. The staff was great and I never had to worry about asking for something, they got it before I asked. As for the food, most everything we ordered was pretty good. I had a simple spaghetti with meat sauce which was good, lots of sauce. My wife had the veggie lasagna and thought it was good. My daughter had a salad and ravioli. The garlic bread was also decent. It was a cute old school Italian restaurant and definitely worth the visit. The prices were pretty good too.

Caruso's is hands down my favorite restaurant in Tucson. The food is old school Italian and absolutely delicious, and believe me, I'm old enough to know what is good old school Italian. My favorite is the cheese manicotti. Their thick and tangy red sauce is to die for. When the weather allows, I love sitting with friends out on their beautiful patio surrounded by tall junipers and pomegranate trees under strings of colorful lights with opera music in the air. Starting out with their yummy garlic bread straight through to their incredible homemade spumoni for dessert, If you like old school Italian food, this is the place!

A friend referred us to this restaurant. If you like awesome old school Itaian food this is the place. Service was excellent and prices were very fair. The only reason I didnt give them a 5 is that its REALLY NOISY! Other than that, we will return.
