Is a very small Mom and Pop establishment. Is clean but plain. However, the food is very good at very fair prices, and the staff very friendly and attentive. We ended up eating here twice and both meals were very good. I had the California omelette on both occasions and my girlfriend got the special both times. Would definitely eat here again.
We arrived a little before 9am on a Saturday and the restaurant was about 1/3 full. You can seat yourself. Drink order was taken promptly by a friendly waitress after we sat down. I had the loaded hashbrowns which were crispy just like I prefer. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium as requested. Sourdough bread was great. Cinnamon roll was fresh and tasty but not the best in Tucson. Husband loved his ginormous chicken fried steak and he says it's the best white gravy he has had in Tucson - quite peppery.
Huge portions for a great price. Service was good and the food came fast.
Really good food. Had their special Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. Delightful! Do not travel go the west side of town much but will go again when I do. Will maybe try lunch next. ?
I'm from New Jersey and I'm in Tucson, visiting family. My dad took me to Cappy's and told me how good the breakfast was. He wasn't kidding! We have been there everyday that I've been here. The food is delicious and the hospitality is unmatched. Connie is a real sweetheart and makes sure you have everything you need. I highly recommend Cappy's to anybody looking for a good breakfast or lunch.
Had the tamale breakfast and it was so good. Homemade tamales, beans and fresh salsa. Enjoy stopping at Cappy's even though there is always a slight wait on the weekends. Definitely worth it.
Food is amazing good , it’s always busy but food always arrives on good time ! Huge portions never bland , we had the chicken fried steak biscuits and gravy over easy eggs and sausage we even had left overs to take home ! worth the money and service is excellent ❤️
Wonderful small family diner with sweet staff. I loved Mexican menu and I ordered the chile rellenos with house made green salsa that was out of this world. The beans and eggs were cooked to perfection. Just a perfect breakfast in a cozy, down home enviroment.
A local place for a super generous portion of well flavored food! The prices can’t be beat! Service was quick and efficient. Diner vibe full of locals.
Cappy’s is our kind of place for breakfast. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and prompt, the portions are huge and the food is good. I had a breakfast burrito with enchilada sauce. The burrito was the size of a football and was jam packed with bacon, potatoes and eggs. This place is a well-kept secret. I hope to visit during our next trip to Tucson.
