02 May 2022 at 1200 hrs: The most rude female cashier I have ever seen. I was yelled at because the fountain drinks tasted like it was filled with a chemical and I brought back the drinks. She rudely and very loudly yelled at me and rudely asked me in an aggressive tone what I wanted now. Numerous people brought back drinks. And it all started because I paid in cash and she had no change. If you don't want to take cash, don't take cash from a customer and treat customers like they are a burden. And no one even apologized! not even a supervisor. If the rude service is the norm for Built Custom Burgers in the Tuscon International Airport then I, nor anyone associated with any of my bussinesses will ever buy another item from Built Custom Burgers again.
The entire meal as a whole was alright. I wanted the “L.A way" burger with a brioche bun instead of a wheat bun, and cheddar cheese instead of jack cheese, but apparently, they can’t do that? I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place in my life where I couldn’t change the building of the burger, LET ALONE THE NAME OF THE FREAKING RESTAURANT! I know your business is like a hole-in-a-wall restaurant, but $60 for 3 burgers, 3 fries, and 3 drinks is too overpriced for me. On top of that, the tater-tots I ordered were mistaken for regular fries, and they managed to mess up two burgers that were just “meat and cheese”, which instead they decided to put everything on them. I also found a piece of chicken tenders in my fries lol. I could tell the soda machines were running low on syrup, based on my soft-drink tasting like carbonated water, which isn’t entirely disgusting; it’s just not what I ordered. The lady at the register wasn’t inherently disrespectful but was very hard to hear under the mask, with a thick accent, and a lot of noise behind both of us (not that she could’ve controlled that). The only thing they miraculously got right was not putting any sauce or mayonnaise in my burger, which was for allergy reasons. 4/10, or 2/5 stars for me. I’d highly recommend places like El Charro Café, or Wendy’s if we’re talking about fast food ?
Terrible they didn't have half the stuff on the menu and couldn't take cash because no register insert.
Burnt burgers were better than the service. Terribly long wait understaffed or trained either way not worth the airport prices they charged. Had such high hopes and came away disappointed. Better off buying a 4 day old sandwich from the convenience stores
first they took cash only but the problem was the management of the staff!! clearly were understaffed ..lack of courtesy to customers.. part of my burger was still cold ..I asked for swiss cheese instead of cheddar got cheddar!! over flowing garbage cans inside the cooking area and out. The place need attention!
Expensive, worst burger I’ve ever paid that much for, fries were just ok, soda fountain dirty and stale undrinkable. Staff however was great. They can only work with what they are provided. Won’t make that mistake again.
In the Tucson airport in terminal B, this is a good place for a quick lunch or dinner. Food is very good, options are burgers or chicken tenders.
They need to improve everything:- staff attitude and have more staff, not good to see a cashier handling burgers- food quality, for a $10 burger you at least expect a decent burger, no the case here. And the fries!! They were cold, so annoying. They didn’t even have the bread I requested and didn’t say anything, just gave me my burger in a different bread.Ended up wasting A LOT of time waiting for nothing.Oh and last thing, the trash can full, come on guys!!Never coming back.
Bacon was great. Other than that, the $10 burger was burnt and very thin. The service was also aweful. The server didn't look at me or say a single word, and started turning people in line away before closing time.
Very sad. Staff was ridiculous. Got a simple order wrong. Did not bring it out when it was done, nor did they call us. They weren't rude, just indifferent to providing service. The food was not bad, but definitely not worth the wait.
