We had such a wonderful time worthy of our celebration. Food was absolutely perfet, service was wonderful!
Iâve been here before and it was OK. Decided to go back with my daughter to see if she had the same experience I did the first time. We both thought the food was decent. We really enjoyed our appetizers but the main dishes were just OK. For us both the tomato based sauce was just not impressive. Iâve had better Italian in Tucson. Service was so-so. We had an inexperienced waiter who was a little to busy talking to co-workers. While I probably wonât go back I would still recommend this place. If your looking for decent Italian food, $30 a plate or less, itâs worth a shot.
The menu was varied and quite extensive. Our reservation time was adhered to almost to the minute. Service was a little slow but that may have been due to the fairly large crowd of diners. We have been going to Michelangelo for many years. Best Italian restaurant in town.
Great service. We did think the portions were a bit small for the price but the food was excellent. Will definitely go back!
We had a very nice experience. Solid Italian food, much better than Tavolino, one 1/2 step lower than Vivaci. Service was excellent, Eric our waiter was professional and quick witted. Offered us a nice alternative bottle of wine at a lower cost (that usually doesnt happen) Food was excellent, salmon and olive risotto, chicken something with vegetables was cooked nicely. Desert-oh my great choices, went with the Duolo, dark chocolate with a mousse interior was awesome. Great evening, we will be back.
One of our favorites and it didnât disappoint. Menu, taste, service â all excellent, esp. with Happy Hour Specials.
Enjoyed our experience and the food. We both had pasta seafood dishes and mine was even gluten free but you would never know it was it tasted so good. We ate inside and the noise level was pretty elevated but the waiter was great. The only complaint would be the bus girl who kept trying to clear our plates a before we were ready to or finished.
I wanted McDonald's, but my wife wanted Italian. We found this restaurant as it was close to where we were shopping. It looked busy so I jumped online and saw that I could make an online reservation. After making the reservation, we arrived and were immediately seated. Our waitress was prompt and very attentive during our meal. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the garlic knots. The desert options came in very generous portions.
Had a wonderful meal with family. We had a great server with plenty of menu knowledge and suggestions. Will return soon!
Have eaten wonderful dinners at Michelangelo many times over the years, but lunch yesterday was very disappointing. At noon, it was not very busy and there was a slew of empty tables--but all the customers were crowded into one front corner, where the noise level (always loud) became intolerable. We had already asked to change booths because the first one was so tight, the three of us could hardly squeeze ourselves in. The food was fairly priced, but mediocre. The pizza had very little taste, and the chopped salad was very wet and soggy. Best part of the meal was the bread and oil-vinegar dip.
