The sandwich was great! The single-use plastic that came with it tastes like horrible. Can't recycle it because it had food in it.Change your ways BB.
As a visitor to Tucson area, I had heard of Beyond Bread. It compares favorably with the national Panera Bread. I am a daily regular at my California Panera. It was not crowded on my visit here. In fact, it was lonely. Fewer than six people were here at 9 a.m. My oatmeal was fine, coffee good. They brought food to our table, a real plus. Wife loved the place. The architecture is remarkable. Interior is sparkling clean. Servers are friendly and efficient. Beyond Bread is good but I prefer Panera.
Had the worst cinnamon roll of my life at Beyond Bread on Ina Street in Tucson, Az. It was very hard, dry and not quality flavor. It appeared to be old, but according to the manager, they prepare new each day. If this is true, then the quality of their cinnamon rolls has to be the worst I have ever eaten. Also, the customer service was very poor. The person behind the counter, never greeted or thanked me for the order. When I called to discuss the situation, the manager was rude, verbally aggressive and refused to let me speak to the General manager. I asked her numerous times. She also said she would have the general manager call me but never did. This store is on my list to never go there again!!! There are other restaurants in Tucson like Roberts that have excellent cinnamon rolls. I would give the restaurant an F-- rating
Great place to grab a bite to eat. Fresh great quality generous portions friendly and fast service. The place to go while in Tucson.
My favorite place for a sandwich. I always get the Rogers roast and pasta salad. Sandwich is divine!! The bread is out of this world! Real meat! Baked goods are phenomenal as well. You won't get anything bad here! I highly recommend it!
My first time in Tucson and stumbled onto this little gem. Wide variety of bread, pastries, and treats. Ginormous full loaves (15+") that are delicious! They're very pricey, but well worth the splurge in my opinion ?
Great selection. Delicious sandwiches that you can customize to meet your needs. The jalepeno sourdough was on point! We had the Everything Reuben, which was amazing, and the Frita's Flight.
I usually go in to get bread for home, maybe a giant pretzel. Today I had my first sandwich there and it's my last. The rye bread crust was so hard it was inedible. Looking around, I noticed other tables leaving their crusts too. My sandwich ingredients were stingy. I decided to eat one of the Russian tea cookies for dessert. Dry as a bone. As I bit in, powder and crumbs exploded from my mouth. Rather embarrassing. I cut into my "fresh" loaf of rustic (which is around $5 for a three handful sized doorstop) and could have cracked a tooth on the crust. The bread is good for about nothing unless soup dunking. I'm disappointed. I prefer to support local businesses, but this encounter turned me off. I wasn't impressed the last time (hard rye bread, overly crusty cibatta) but I was hoping it was a one time oops.
The fresh bread is amazing! If you get there early, try the pretzel bread. If you go for lunch, the sandwiches are divine! I highly recommend this establishment- the service is top notch and it's a great break to a busy day.
Very happy with my last visit! Thank you! Glad to see people having compassion for each other and wearing masks unlike other places where people pretend to care but really don’t or even worse, they’re science deniers ?? I guess that’s what I should expect though in Tucson where a renowned research university U of A is located! Glad to see some people with brains! Unlike my visit yesterday to Sedona… where I went to a place we will call chocolate-tree and they just pretend to care about people and the planet but not one sign asking people to wear a mask and not one person wearing a mask inside! Disgusting and hypocritical.
