Well, the first pizza we got a few years back was great. Since then it has been hit or miss, mostly miss. Twice we have asked for thin crust and didn't get it. Gluten free pizza has been overcooked both times and not sure where the cilantro cream should go. It is in with the base sauces, but the pizza came with a pathetic drizzle on the top. Salads have been below average. A token sprinkle of feta, old lettuce and 2 or 3 olives. Nope. Easier and better if I make it at home.No longer good pizza, its close to home, but won't visit again.
Eaten here several times and though the prices are on the high end, the food has always been quality. Good sized portions and lots of toppings on both the salad and pizza; coupled with the nice atmosphere it’s definitely worth it in my book. Hard to believe some of the 1-2 star reviews, definitely check this place out for some great, local pizza on the east side.
Bear Canyon Pizza is our favorite neighborhood hangout! Their food and beer is top notch…hand tossed pizzas with fresh high quality ingredients, and their wings are a favorite with our whole family. The dining areas, both inside and out, are comfortable and family friendly. The employees go above and beyond, especially Abby? Love everything about this place!
I’d heard great things about these guys but it was truly terrible. It was delivery. Pizza was the canyon combo; strange title since you don’t get anything with it, just pizza. Anyway, pizza was barely warm and so wet and soggy when it arrived it was disgusting and a slice could barely be picked up (see pictures). The sausage topping was kebab meat. Fries were also wet and soggy (maybe put some paper towel in there if it’s for home delivery, duh. The marinara dip was so hot that the plastic container had melted (see pictures)They also “forgot” my ranch dip. Money down the drain. Pizza in the trash. I ate one slice. With tip… $40.
Went to visit some family in Tucson and I tried this place out. They were able to accommodate me and my large family with multiple kids. Pizza was great but our service was awesome. Gwyneth was amazing and very helpful when helping us find the right pizzas and beer. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Thanks! We will definitely be back.
Love their pizzas! Very yummy. Good location too. The only thing missing is a full bar. They have a decent selecting of craft beer, and wines. The hard liquor is limited to canned cocktails. I think they own the venue across the parking and that one has liquor. But, certainly go to Bear Canyon for pizza and beer.
Owners are really nice, go the extra mile. Food is fantastic. Great selection of beer. Try the calzone. They drizzle olive oil on top. Feel like your down in Little Italy. Impressive Chef! Great job all around!
The food is delicious. One giant slice is enough for two people. I love the elote pizza. The crust is nice and crispy. Good beer selection and nice outdoor seating. Good service and friendly atmosphere.
These garlic knots are no joke!Awesome atmosphere and music. 5 stars easy.
Honestly this is the second time I have been here. I don’t live here in Tucson but visit once in a while. The pizza has a nice crunchy crust, and tastes really well the wings had a delightful crunchy Spivey and tenderness to them and i heavily enjoyed my meal. I do wish my cup however, was a disposable cup that I could have brought with me when I was done eating but that’s not a game changer :) thank you!
