Me and a few friends got together to go eat and and ended up here. I wish we could go back and choose another restaurant. Let me start with how dirty the place was, we got sat (group of 7) on a dirty table with multiple items under our table (menus, pencils, forks, etc.) They had a full bar with a multiple selection of alcohol, unfortunately you can only order the drinks that are listed on the menu. A member of our group asked for a "7 & 7", a simple whiskey and 7-up drink, the waiter did not know the drink and told us we couldn't order the drink, to only order what was listed on the menu. The drinks were not good at all. We waited for our sushi for about 25 minutes after the dishes from our other members were served. To our surprised the sushi came with an extra ingredient! (Hair) We decided not to complain simply because we were starving and did not want to wait another 30 minutes or more for our the food. We obviously did not eat the sushi with the hair, but did try the Bulgogi which was okay, nothing special. Our waiter checked on us zero times, we had to grab his attention to ask him how much longer our sushi would take. Not only did we find hair in our food, but because we had a party of 6 and more (7th member was just a 5 year old kid) we requested our check to be split between three checks, our waiter automatically added an 18% tip on each ticket (which is pretty normal in restaurants with larger groups), but to get $12-$15 per check when the food took longer than expected, to not ask for a 2nd round of drinks, to refuse to check with the bar to see if they offered any other drinks other than the ones listed on the menu, for our extra ingredients in our food, to the cleanliness of the place, I feel a tip over $40 was not worth it. We didn't complain we simply paid our bill and left laughing because of the entire experience. Needless to say we will not be going back again, please save yourself time and hard earn money and choose a different restaurant. *We also noticed multiple employees arguing and yelling at each other multiple times* *I hate leaving bad reviews, but I would feel bad for anyone else to be spending money here, and have an experience like we did.*
They opened at 1130 and that is fine, we were 1 group of 3 groups when they opened.... We ordered our food, waited 35-45 minutes and saw our waitress only twice during that time frame..... We only had 4 people in our group, one group had 5 and the other had 3 people, so not a whole lot of customers. Our waitress did mention to us that she was still new so i understand, the 2 stars was for the wait. The music didnt match the vibe but that's just my opinion, once the food got there it wasnt the best, the wait might of had something to do with my perspective on the food.
Very good priced sushi restaurant. If you want the most sushi such as all you can eat basically for the same amount that you usually pay somewhere else this is the place to go. I don't know
I seldom entertain the option of writing a review. Let me first mention that the food was decent, that wasn't issue. My issue is with the hostess at the front door. I arrived with my wife, son and his lady friend. We are all adults. I'm a middle-aged man and the very first question asked prior to being seated at your restaurant was, "Are these going to be separate checks." Now I am offended!! I feel there is no reason to ask. She didn't ask anyone else this question. We are here for dinner and it doesn't matter how the check is going to be paid, or by whom. We came to your restaurant simply to eat. Please, allow us to enjoy our meal and how the bill is paid would be totally up to us. Even though the bill was my pleasure to pay. It's the young lady who was at the hostess stand with dark hair. She should have had formal training. She mentioned she was training someone else at the desk. We are responsible individuals coming to your establishment simply to enjoy our evening and the experience. Someone should relay the information to your staff and allow the patrons to enjoy themselves and pay their bills without prearranging it with the lady at the front door, prior to be seated. Very unprofessional!!
I’m giving it 4 stars because our waiter was amazing. So sorry but didn’t catch his name- Caucasian, taller gentlemen with short brown hair. The food was okay….nothing to go back for. Except for the sushi roll; sushi was yummy. Most stars are for customer service though!
Best sushi in town in my opinion.My favorite things to get are the sweet chilli wings and the rock n roll. I also love how refreshing the vegetable roll is. If you go, request Jesus as your server! He is on top of things!
OUTSTANDING SERVICE TONIGHT..We showed up 50 min before close. No one was rude about it and Ray got us seated immediately and was also our server. He was very friendly and also notified other tables it would be loud due to some birthday drumming. Thank you to everyone working tonight you can feel the teamwork!! Will absolutely return! How can you ruin rice? It happens at this place. Food is salty, overpriced and they serve sushi w/out wasabi or ginger. I’m not sure if they know what wasabi or fresh ginger is. I had trouble giving this place a one star rating, it deserved a zero star. Go there if you like bad food and loud music. It makes McDonald’s look like a gourmet restaurant.
Went in thinking it was going to empty. Boy was I wrong. Didn't know this place was so popular at 4pm. Food was good, portions are perfect, most rolls are only 4 pieces and priced as such, which allows you to try many combinations. There was a lot of options if you don't want rolls. My only qualm is that a large number of the rolls is just a variation of the basic rolls we always see.
The sushi is best described as “subpar”, nothing more special than the sushi made in-house at Fry’s. Wait staff is very rude and unprofessional. They seem very annoyed at people walking in and had drinks pretty much thrown at the table. Then, when I tried to get an explanation for extra charges on our bill, I was completely ignored and received zero explanation. I guess their attitude is acceptable, since that is what is modeled by management. When I tried to have the extra charges explained to me I was met by a screaming man who would not give ANY explanation, he resorted to insulting me and literally yelling at me. Please do yourself a favor and don’t visit this establishment, it has zero redeemable qualities. Not to mention, the restroom always smell like backed up sewerage, someone should look into that.
