I have loved AJs since the location was built near my home. They have an amazing selection of deli items, salads, soups, bakery items, sushi, lunches...you name it. My absolute favorite potato salad is from here and I continue to purchase it and have for nearly 15 years. I came for a work trip today and they did not have what I was looking for but it was expected. (Vanilla Torani Syrup) However the nice guy at the seafood counter asked my kids if they would like to hold one of the live lobsters. This blew me away because I've never experienced such a unique approach of customer service. My son was delighted, my daughter was skeptical but it was a definite hit. Thanks for the interactive experience. It truly made our day!

I start off by saying that I love this place! Now for the star rating, I would give this place five stars but everything except for the fruits and vegetables is overpriced compared to any other place with the same product. I would give it five stars if the 'regular' products that are there were somewhat in line with other stores but I can't. The fruits and vegetables in the meats and seafood are amazing. The meats and seafood are just overpriced but are still very good. All the canned and bottled goods to include wine, beer, and liquor are so much more than other places but shouldn't be. The fresh produce food at the counters are phenomenal and should be rated five stars because they're so good for a grocery store. One of the best places in Tucson for grocery shopping for quality but prices are high which is why I give it four stars. It's not for everybody but I highly recommend you visit this place to see the high side of grocery shopping and amazing products, selection, and great food to go.

All of AJ's Staff were cordial, friendly and helpful! Products are quality! We love their squid salad, pastries, ready-to-go teas & coffees and wine selections.

Upscale market with popular items and unique finds- all arranged aesthetically. Good inventory of alcohol and wines. Large deli and nice bakery. This store is a bit pricey however, especially the floral and faux floral items.

If I had the option to put zero stars I would! I went in around 10:30ish to grab a quick breakfast from the deli area.. I approached the area and there were two older women in eye sight and did not acknowledge me whatsoever.. I stood there for about 2-3 min then a group of older folks came over to order and just took over the area and the associates quickly came over to assist them… as if I was NOT PRESENT… incredibly rude and awful. This isn’t the first time this has happened but I thought I would give benefit of the doubt the other previous times. I work at the mall & I know what customer service is and this was not acceptable. You should really consider training and making sure your workers are actually attentive and working! It made me feel as if I was not important maybe cause of my age (I’m in my 20’s) only because once the older folks approached .. BAM they were on it….. but the manager should definitely circle their store to make sure they have better attentiveness skills & maybe have them work on their energy. They mostly seem miserable working there ..

So many things to chose from the Pastry Counter, Deli, Sushi , fresh meats and fish , produce and more. The largest varieties of groceries and more. I meet with friends on the patio and we had a beautiful breeze that kept us cool in the early morning hours. Everyone can pick and choose what they want and visit . Great to refresh after or before shopping at La Encantada ❤️ Love the neighborhood!

Ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and we were blown away by the arrangement, service, and attention to detail. Thank you so much for making my 82 year old mother overwhelmed with happiness. Fantastic as always, AJ’s!

We ordered the pre made ham dinner for Easter., and it was amazing. The ease of just having to warm everything through saved so much time and effort. EVERYONE raved about the taste and quality of the food. I will do it again for sure.

This was the most beautifully stocked store I can recall. The interior design was as good as the selection. Overall, decent prices.

Seems far and away the best grocery store in Tucson in the category of 'traditional' (meaning not TJs or Sprouts). Prices can be high but not for everything. The selection, whether international wines, local beers, or coffee beans, is impressive.
