My husband and I planned a disc golf & happy hour date- we found this place and will DEFINITELY be back! Some of the best gyoza, sushi and miso in town. Affordable for a fun night out. Nice staff too!
Yakitori dishes are ok.Rolls and sashimis have rather low-grade fishes.Open late and having two happy hour time slots are nice, but we probably won't be coming here too often...
The man that sat as at the table he was very polite, however, our waitress she was very unfriendly, at first I thought it was just me but my friend also said the same thing. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t all that great either, it just seemed “blah” compared to other sushi places I go to in the valley :/
great dinner...for two...
This place looked very promising for vegan sushi, but the tempura ended up having egg in it. The seaweed salad was probably the best I've had, but the vegetable rolls we wanted had tempura. We ended up getting plain vegetable rolls, which were fine, but had mushy rice. Those alone weren't worth their cost. If they can figure out an eggless tempura, it would be a good choice for vegan sushi.
Solid experience and food! The chef's special sushi roll was amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is that our hostess was a bit rude and couldn't explain why she couldn't seat us when the restaurant was half full! Other than that, we had a great time.
Sean was our server tonight and we had an amazing time! He gave us yummy recommendations as well as travel tips. Best dinner we’ve had so far at our trip to Arizona. Definitely recommend!
The food was great portions/sizes for the low price. Even more so with happy hour prices. Dylan was a fantastic waiter!
While not the best Asian food I've had, definitely not the worst! If you're looking for something a bit more casual and not as pricy, Zu Izakaya is great! Servings are generous, and there is a lot of variety on the menu.
Food was ok. But customer service was bad. It was our first time dining here and would never come back for sure. They didn't really want to take our party even the restaurant wasn't even busy at that time. The waitress was not attentive and didn't care much about service. Things would not be so bad til the male manager on Tuesday night the 11th, who ruined our whole dining experience. We asked kindly to see the manager to resolve our ordering problem, he came to our table standing there looking at us without introducing himself. So we had to start explaining ourselves, and he was super passive aggressive against us. After we explained, he tried to blame us for not reading the menu carefully, and asked us back if we were trying to blame his employees. Clearly we didn't, we were explaining the situation. He didn't apologize, he obviously threw bad attitudes at us. We couldn't solve our issues, he said sorry once and left our table with awful experiences. The manager was just straight up rude and unprofessional.
