My local Zipps. Been going to Zipps in AZ for over a decade. Food is consistent and drinks are very reasonable.Like the bartending staff a lot at this location.Favorite food here:Zipps wings, naked (or mild), extra crispy with a side of the Hot (honey style). Their hot is legit hot and I like hot sauces. Get it on the side unless you like to torture yourself. But this is great with amazing flavor. Wings are a top 5 in AZ
Service was amazing. Pretzels and cheese dip were delicious. Wings were good. But everything else was under salted and just okay- onion rings, tuna melt, fish and chips, burger... and onion ring batter is a little chewy and too thick. So maybe stick with appetizers??
This was the first time visit. Our friends go alot. We went for a meeting. There was about 12 of us. Service was pretty good for both food and drinks. Kenna I believe was our server was very attentive! Golden wings were very yummy. Onion rings we ok, I didnt like the batter much and I didnt realize I was getting actual chips, I thought the sweet potato chips were going to be more like thick slices fried. They were still good. they have amazing blue cheese and ranch!
Hmm, fyi the focaccia is not focaccia, you're ordering a wrap or unseasoned Naan. I guess I'll try the burgers or wings next time. It was good just not what I was expecting. Service was great, so 4 stars!
Wait was long, had to go and find a server. Food arrived before water or drinks. 1 of 2 entrees was dried out and cold. The blonde hostess Sam did not seem to care and did not do anything about it. I've worked in food service for years, and I understand the stress and complications, but the place was not busy. These problems are easily avoidable.(The fish and chips was bad. The chicken skewers were the good one.)Not coming to this Zipps location again, especially because of the careless hostess and long wait on a slow night.
Good bar food restaurant. Great selection of sports on TV. Service was great, fries are good, but it is a sports bar. Would frequent again.
Place is busy seated right away went downhill from there very slow service started with a poor excuse for an Old fashioned. Place order for food took forever to get there was not good at all ordered the focaccia chicken it came out wrapped in what appear to be burrito dough that was not done. It's not good at all french fries were soggy and lukewarm onion rings were okay. Mark this place off the list.
This is 1 of my brother's favorite spots. Definitely not mine I prefer the one in Scottsdale the vibe is different. The food is good not great but good. I give it 3 stars because of the customer service, it's bad. I understand most places do not care how their customers are treated because they need bodies (quantity over quality) but this is the reason I don't frequent this place. There's limited to no engagement from the wait staff. So if you're coming to just have drinks and watched the game(s) with limited interruptions this is great. But when you are expecting another drink and no one is showing up, don't be surprised! When your nachos come out and the cheese is hard because it's been sitting, don't be surprised! When you're ready to pay but the wait staff hasn't returned back to your table, don't be surprised! I understand they have the stereotype that black people don't tip but I'm a great tipper especially when the service is well otherwise you get 15% of the bill.
I only got a picture of our drinks because the minute our wings came out, we devoured them. Best wings! Also, if you haven't had the Zipparita, you're missing out. This time I got the firecracker zipparita and my hubby got their specialty Old Fashioned. Everything was good and our server was friendly and attentive. Busy night with March Madness on every TV.
Terrible service. My friends and i sat down at 9:50 after 10 min no one had even approached us to take our drink orders. So we asked at the counter if someone would be with us soon. A blonde girl said she would Tell her co worker to take our order. Another 10 minutes pass by still nothing. So we asked for a second time and again she said she would ask someone else to take our order even though she was serving the table right next to us. After 30 minutes of not getting any help we got up and left. This is ridiculous. The place wasn’t packed and there was more than enough staff to help us, but i guess at Zipps cleaning windows is more important than their customers. Do not recommend.
