Very delicious and reasonably priced options. I stop here weekly. I’m pretty sure I’ve had everything on the menu. I usually have my ramen medium spicy and it’s perfect for me. It’s conveniently located. The owner is the chef here.it’s really wholesome and filling. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here.

Delicious! Amazing, authentic Japanese cuisine!! It was a bit warm in there (85°) for dining in, but the quality of the food made up for it. I had the Yatai Ramen (medium spice) with a side of fried rice. Everything was perfect!

Yatai Ramen is amazing! I’ve made Yatai Ramen my go to ramen shop for the past year and I have never been disappointed. The owner and staff are kind and friendly. Besides the ramen here, you can find other amazing entrees such as their curry dishes, rice bowls, appetizers, and etc. Compared to other ramen shops where the food can come a little overwhelming(in my opinion). Yatai Ramen is simple and delicious! For as long as I am in the greater phoenix area. This will forever be my go to ramen shop! So stop in by, say hello, and enjoy a great meal!

I would rate this higher than 5 stars if I could! I come here any time I want ramen, this is by far the best ramen spot I have found. EVER. Mark (the owner) is also very kind and remembers his regulars!

Menu doesn't offer too many options but their food is great. Recommend the miso ramen, you can request for different spiciness levels. The place only has a few seats and tables and seems normally busy. Most people seemed to opt for take out.

Food 4/5Restaurant 1/5The food is really good. The tonkotsu broth of the yatai ramen looks watery but has a ton of flavor and is much better than most of the ramen places around Tempe. Sizes are smaller, so the price is ok. Like I like that it’s cheaper but it’s only because you get less food.(Origami is the absolute best, in Ahwatukee)We got the yatai ramen, with tonkatsu mini bowl (should say katsu-don because they put the egg on top, not my favorite but it was actually good, I was surprised), katsu curry mini bowl (also good, curry is packaged of course so it tastes like you expect from a grocery bento in Tokyo), and the tonkatsu with rice plate. The pork cutlet was a bit dry but other than that all of the food was good. Ramen was not overcooked or soggy. The shop itself is tiny, furniture is all wobbly, and it’s dirty. Like, I’m a drop something on the floor and 5-second rule type of person ? but I would not eat anything I ever “oops”ed here. It has like a 20 year grunge and oil film mixed with our nice az dust of never being actually cleaned.Someone buy these people a steam cleaner!Soda syrup boxes and hoses just sitting around on the stainless kitchen stand they’re using for the soda dispenser, windows not clean, trash in the mop water drain on the floor. They don’t have public restrooms even for customers, but if they did I wouldn’t use it.I guess all of that really just tells me it’s not really Japanese, because your average Japanese person would take one look and run away. I’m actually surprised my husband didn’t…

Honestly the best Ramen I've had so far in Arizona. The Shoyu broth was spicy and flavorful, plus they were kind enough to work with my pork restriction. Truly a wonderful experience for anyone looking for quality cuisine.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time after I looked at all the ramen shops in the area and this is the highest rated one (and for a good reason). The food is delicious, the place feels homey and it gave the best nostalgic feeling from when I was 12 years old visiting my brother is Sasebo. The food is delicious and it's so much. Definitely found our spot to visit everytime we get paid. We got the ramen and pork katsu combo and the ramen was so incredibly delicious and filling, the meat was tender and flavorful and the egg was perfect. The katsu bowl is almost a second meal in itself. Thank you again for the great experience!

I have been looking for a good Ramen place in AZ. this place was not good at all, it was AMAZING. I live in Tucson and I will drive 2 hrs to eat here no problem. quick and great food. The server wants to know if there food is great and if not how can they make it better. I am glad this isn't a cooperate chain because the love in this food can simply not be duplicate. Fresh food with good prices. I am absolutely a fan.

Great ramen! The soup base was what's best versus all the other ramen places in the valley. The owner definitely took the time to crate the rich flavored tonkotsu broth.
