The food was ok, the sides were small, and I feel like most of it was pre cooked or frozen. I was kinda upset cause I wanted Mac and Cheese as a side but some how they ran out and only had "Mac and Cheese with jalapeno". Doesn't make a lot of sense if your "making it fresh".
Great selection of Chicago style BBQ. Very consistent quality of food. Dependable. I feel like they've always been there. A staple.
Gross!!!! The rib tips were ashy! The cornbread seemed to be days old! The macaroni was well over done! The only thing I had a chance to sample in the store was the coleslaw, which was good but they forgot to bag it ??♀️……. And to add injury to illness the cobbler was watery like a soup or something….. I just can’t believe I spent almost 30$ for this meal and even tipped them even though I took my food to go smh….
Besides the Kraft macaroni and cheese, they just poured cold bbq sauce on old meat. Worst bbq ever.. don’t go here
Hadn't been there in a while so stopped by to grab an Italian Sausage sandwich. Still as Awesome as I remember back in High School! I was surprised the Mob Bar a few doors down is no longer there. It's a Chinese Place now.
There are tons of good BBQ joints in the Phoenix area, unfortunately this isn't one of them. This isn't the worst BBQ I've ever eatin, but it's pretty close.Flavorless meat drowning in sauce. I ordered a three meat combo, and thru most of it away.Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else, I wish I had.
Excellent sliced brisket and burnt ends, especially considering the price/lb. The sauces are tasty and the sides are what you expect. Very on-point counter serve barbecue at reasonable prices.
The food here is delicious! The Italian beef sandwich is just right and not as fatty like what they serve at portillos. The chicken BBQ sandwich with the spicy BBQ sauce is a good choice as well or if your in the mood for just red meat you can't go wrong with the chopped beef!
I love bbq, but this place was horrible. The brisket which was not cheap was chewy, hard to eat, and more than half fat. I would avoid this place if u like brisket go to the Woodbarn in Queen creek. It's a drive, but totally worth it. The brisket is to die for.
Know that business is down but this place should close. Foreign cook 1/2 the size of a real Chicago Italian beef. Dipping sause was questionable. Think they should quit using Chicago name! Eric from Lombard IL
