A great find! The drinks were all fantastic! The asada tacos were delicious. The SALSA was even better. The fry bread tostada(no longer on the menu) was cooked perfectly. The churros was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Absolutely scrumptious. The burger was under cooked but without asking they removed the burger and covered our dessert. Excellent service all the way around. Great spot that we will be returning to!
I love this spot. Itâs right in my neighborhood. The food is a cut above what yours expect. The bartender also makes a mean mocktail. :) I love when they have fish on the menu, too!!
Overall it was fine. The menu was pretty limited and I felt the prices were a bit high, especially because the item I ordered was missing ingredients. The servers were quite nice and attentive. The space itself is really great whether you sit at the bar, either side of the restaurant or on the patio.
Had pork loin and green chili burger. Both were delicious. Had great French fries too. Wine list good- but for by the glass a little more limited. Cocktails were a hit.

Blond Hair in my hamburger and after I reordered tacos I didnât get them until my party finished their meals. They compensated by paying for both meals and giving me a $25 gift card. Food was tasty!
We wanted to try something new but was disappointed with the limited menu. I donât know how they say they are a Mexican food restaurant when there isnât much that would be considered as Mexican food. The noise level was so loud as there wasnât any sound buffers. The food took a long time and wasnât exceptional in any way and certainly not a good value. The photos online are deceptive as well.
Golden Pineapple is becoming one of our favorite places in Tempe. The staff is super knowledgeable, the food and drinks are really fun, and it sort of feels like an oasis from everything else happening outside.
