This is a nice bar closest to me. I haven't tried their food because kitchen was closed by the time we reached there by 12 midnight. Drinks are good and with competitive prices. However they are not good in making cocktails. Surely visit one more time to try their food.

Overall a positive vibes, outlook and place for good food and live music from local bands you can't go wrong with that. The environment is extremely friendly. The staff is excellent. The food is by far delicious ? & it is a fun way to hang out and meet new people or bring your party to a good time. Trust me when everyone else has left a really good review, you won't be disappointed. This is one out of the many establishments that I will continue to keep going to hands down.

I was in the bathroom when I came out to find someone from the kitchen putting a hold on my girlfriend. He said she was being drunk and loud, we hadn’t had a drink yet and was talking to my aunt. He’s lucky to be alive.

A menu with vegetarian bar food is easy to come by in Tempe. Tempe Tavern actually does a decent job at making it. A little cramped and music is too loud for me if I sit in the wrong spot, but other than that it's a great time.

It is not ok for the bouncer to be a d… to a A regular customer that comes all the time. Because he didn’t see everything that happened! So I didn’t think I should come back and then I finally came back. Then he laughed that I finally came back and made a comment of why i am back! Then goes oh nothing happened I didn’t say any of that stuff to your gf!! Then said She had to lie!!

I loved it! I went late around 11pm to just sit by myself and play games on my tablet. It wasn't super busy for a Thursday night, which I'm happy about. They had good music, good food and cheap cocktails. The staff was really nice and attentive. The website was accurate as well if you wanted to get an idea of the menu before you go. Overall, I had a nice night to myself. I'd like to go again

Service was slow, their beer selection was small and mostly IPAs, which I do not care for. However, They did have Guinness and Kiltlifter, both of which I like, and the burger was great! It was exactly what I was craving. They also had Ace Pineapple and Strongbow Cider, which I also like, and strongly considered, but in the end I want with a faux black and tan with Guinness & Kiltlifter, which was good, and went perfectly with the burger. Also, their Onion rings were great! I thought about ordering a separate side of those by themselves. If I had been sharing, I probably would have. Definitely a place worth going back to.

Historic building filled with taps in the heart of Tempe on apache/mcclintock lightrail stop. "Hidden" because its unassuming and run by a champion bar owner who puts in work and runs a tight ship. Beautiful artwork/graffiti adorns the walls original structure in tip top shape. One of the best menus in town for pub food plus authentic mexican food reasonably priced. This place is a safe haven for locals in the know and worth a visit from travelers. Sports screens galore, live djs, cozy stage, and other entertainment, ami juke. Friendly staff! Be respectful and be treated in kind.

Great Tempe dive. Drinks always flowing. Friendly people. Strange ones outside. Light rail in yo face. All in all good prices and yummy zucchini.

Delicious food, bartender was so cool and nice, really love the atmosphere. Fun place!
