This place has totally gone down hill. Everything that I ate on this trip. The reason I did not rate this a kne star was, because my partner had no issues. I however wanted to vomit aftery tasting the "Sizzling Salmon" (in picture) had specs of black on top (that I thought was pepper or char) but tasted like chemicals. Honestly the only thing I can equate the taste to is... like someone dropped the salmon in charcoal. Just gross. I will NOT be going back.
Conveyor belt sushi serving. Fresh food, excellent price point, a lot of varieties & the small portion allows you to try the many varieties.Note:-Please do not expect good customer service. 5 star review only because they serve fresh sushi at an unbeatable price.-Wait time can be as long as 20 mins during peak time, for example dinner on Friday.
The food is decent and the service is great. While you're not going to get top-tier sushi due to the geographic location, I've never gotten sick nor had a bad-tasting roll. You will find many interesting roll choices, and the desserts are simply resold, defrosted selections from Costco (probably). That's not a bad thing, and most people don't go to a sushi restaurant for cream puffs and cheesecake. As I said earlier, customer service is great - they will make a special roll if you don't see it on the conveyor belt. The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because they literally started taking the dishes off the belt at 7:30pm on a Saturday...on a Saturday. If they close at 8:00, they are missing out on a huge opportunity to make money. It's also pretty unnerving to have to rush dinner that early.
Good food and great service, building looks a little worn down and only half of the belts were running. Otherwise a good experience; they serve a diverse style of sushi including maki, nigiri and uramaki style.
We took our family there—3 year old and 15 month old. My kids loved it. They thought the sushi bar was a train moving around. Not the most amazing seafood, but such a fun experience. Service was attentive and quick we enjoyed every minute of it.and
I get off work and this is where I go sometimes.the Sushi is Better and Financially freindlier than Sushi Tokoro in Phx on Camelback. I go here because I know I'm always going to get salmon yellowtail and tuna and don't have to tip for it you won't eat this much they want you to spend your entire wallet over at that place that's why they have the prices hidden on the wall behind the Sashimi Chefs so you cannot see it.. Come HERE
Great sushi for the price; it's hard to beat. The tuna/salmon they use always tastes fresh and it's the only revolving sushi place I know of with eel sauce on the table. They have great house rolls especially if you like some spice. It's not somewhere I'd go on a 45 minute lunch because at noon you'll probably encounter a wait. Take lunch early and you'll be seated immediately. As for the service and the complaints I'm seeing in other reviews; it's revolving sushi and pretty much self serve. Unless you're trying to go here to order multiple drinks, the service is good and you can bring your own water if that isn't fast enough. It's easy to get in and out of here quick and cheap if you don't go during the lunch or dinner rush. Best revoking sushi place in town, especially for the price.
I love love love this conveyer belt sushi. You can get started eating as soon as you sit down. Also for all the food I had it wasn’t expensive. I’ll def be back. BTW the Vegas roll was delightful. If you want to try several different thing, then this is the place for you.One trick, if you prefer hot edamame you may want to special order it.
Quality was extremely meh. Service wasn't bad. But when I had to wait about 4 or 5 rotations before something looked somewhat edible I was ready to leave. I only got through 3 plates before not wanting to reach for more. It seems like a good portion of the menu was really lazy. A lot of rolls were different variations of California rolls. Which I suppose an unseasoned sushi fan wouldn't mind. If you like flavor, variety and quality go elsewhere.
I have been eating here since 2016. I have always been excited to eat at this restaurant and never experienced any issues. Well, I had dinner here tonight and was SHOCKED. First they watered down the soy sauce which is the first indicator that they're trying to save money. Next the portion sizes and quality of the food was questionable. I was eating crab salad that was so dry it would not stay together when picking it up with the chopstick. The nail in the coffin was when I ate a tuna sashimi and the aftertaste was so disgusting that it lingered for minutes. I wasn't expecting the owners to be willing to compromise a customer's experience. Food quality/safety is an ABSOLUTE MUST when you're dealing with raw fish. It's going to take me a while before I'll be willing to try this restaurant again. Hopefully the owner will figure out it's quality issues by then.
