Consider the environment before ordering to go here! Its 2022 & they still use Styrofoam! There are plenty of other environmentally friendly containers to use for to go orders. This is why they get 3 stars, they don't care about the community or the future, clearly.I got a brat, which I hadn't had in a very long time, along with the shoestring onion rings. Both were yummy & gotta give em props on the shoestring style because not a lot of places make em like that. Its how they should be made! Ted's Hot Dogs is a classic of valley. They have been here forever and there's a reason. Their hot dogs are great. Wonderful variety of toppings. Love the thin onion rings.

Great tasting dogs and burgers cooked over charcoal. Delicious shakes. Just fyi, no beer or wine sold.
Had a burger, fries, and a hot dog. Helpful staff and food came out quickly. Definitely order cheese with the fries! If you need some grease food this place hits the spot.
My husband stopped here with some friends for lunch one day and then came home telling me how good he thought it was so I had to go see for myself. We took two of our friends with us, one of who loves, loves hot dogs. We waited in line for 20 minutes and there was a line that long behind us. The wait was worth it. The hot dogs are cooked over charcoal and have a really good taste. There are a lot of free toppings to choose from but bacon, chili, etc. cost extra. I ordered a hot dog with bacon and boy was it good. There are numerous items to choose from. There are some seats inside and a few outside. We would go back again.
Ted's is part of my family's DNA!! We're Buffalo NY natives and from the time I was a tiny kid, Ted's was a special family experience. It's been such a treat being able to relive these memories with the Tempe, AZ location ? My only "beef" was that they ask "what do you consider a red hot?" when Ive ordered it that way...lol ?
Tasty fast and friendly. Charcoal grilled Sahlens hot dogs are the best! Crispy French Fries and even some new menu items like a quarter pound grilled bologna sandwich. It looked like a ham steak and was done to perfection. Also one of the best charcoal grilled burgers!
Authentic New York style all beef hot dogs! This is a destination! Every time I'm in Phoenix I go here. Great food great service and the place is clean. I highly recommend it
As we walked in, a man who had obviously served our country many years ago was walking out and told us we’d be pleased, and that he’d been dining at Ted’s for over 30 years!Friendly service. My hot dog was cooked to my liking by a man who’s worked there for 27 years!Looking forward to my next visit.Recommend!
