The greatest coffee shop I have ever been to. I was unfortunately stranded in Tempe and was trying to figure out a way to get to Tucson, and the lady at the front counter was just so sweet and absolutely made my day! Their decor is gorgeous, the coffee is AWESOME, and their staff are so empathetic and caring. I love this place and I hope to get the chance to come back some day!
this is the perfect '3rd space' coffee shop... the vibe is relaxed and has a real personality... plus they have some of the best home made goodies in town (definitely the best scones!). I usually get french press coffee and its always yummy :)
I LOVE Steve's Espresso! The breakfast tacos and the coco mocha latte are so good ! They have the friendliest staff too ! Its also a great spot to work from. They have plenty of space !
Kind of felt like an espresso, googled espresso and bam i found myself at Steve's. Staff was friendly, scones were tasty and i drink a shot of espresso with a few specs of sugar -> teleporting me to Napoli for a few minutes. Highly recommend.
I have been enjoying their coffee for the past five years now. The crew is very polite and professional. They always greet me with a smile and serves me my favorite latte. This place is the best coffee shop in town!
This coffee shop has been a destination for my husband and me for decades. When we lived in the East Valley, we used to come here for excellent coffee and a pastry. They used to advertise only French press, but I do not know if that is still their brewing method. I have always loved their lattes. About 6-7 years ago, the décor was very plain, and the coffee shop did not offer free internet to deter people from camping out all day long. We got a chance to visit in February, and were delighted to see the beautifully redone interior. The size of the interior has doubled. The place was busy. The website says they encourage guests to stay a while, so they probably offer free internet. The menu is more extensive than in the old days, and now offers lunch. The food is all homemade. One of the friendly servers said Steve is still the owner. We look forward to returning. There is seating outdoors too, and I cannot recall if expanded. There is plenty of parking because the shop is located in a small shopping center.
Nice place. Barista was so friendly and attentive. Service was quick too. Their cookies were amazing, I could definitely return for them. But the coffee was ok. My mom like her coffee though, her order was hazelnut cappuccino.
Breakfast and coffee before hitting the road home on a Sunday morning, so good. I got the honey vanilla latte and the farro bowl (so good all mixed together, such great flavors for breakfast!)
Wifi, well decorated, good tables, friendly staff. No masks anywhere! Expensive, the "large"drink is ~24oz. 3 counter staff and it still takes over 10 minutes to get 2 drinks, many drinks list in the shuffle of orders
The food here is amazing. I ordered some avocado toast with low expectations and it was amazing. The jalepeno margarita is also divine although they always seem to be running low on ingredients for it. I love the opulent yet eclectic decor as well
