The ambiance is on point for a college hangout place. Love the vibe! Pizza selection is amazing, and they do have an option to go by slice, which like every pizzeria around the world should. I honestly loved the pizza sauce, the dough however seemed a bit undercooked (but that very well can be a one off thing). Had Sicilian and Tuscany Love. Both amazing, I personally feel Tuscany love would have been better on a thinner crust.
Can you eat just the pizza crust without any ranch from here? YESThe employees were very friendly and courteous.A Margarita Pizza was ordered from here as it is one of the best tests to determine if a pizzeria uses both quality ingredients as well as proper execution of cooking and presentation.Ingredients: the quality was good but I would have preferred to have more basil and buffalo mozzarella. The sauce was fresh and bright but not too acidic so I did not get heartburn which means the tomatoes were ripe.Execution of cooking: The excess moisture from the buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes was removed prior to cooking which is the proper way to cook this. I suspect that the oven was still heating back up as it was slow when I arrived and the crust edges could have been cooked slightly longer however the bottom of the pizza crust was perfectly cooked with a crisp as you bite into it and was chewy.Presentation: the toppings were unevenly distributed based on the cuts. More toppings would have remedied this.Final thoughts: $40 for a large margarita pizza is a bit much, sure the ingredients are good quality but I'd say it's not worth more than about $26 MAX with a little more toppings.
I went here with a group of startups from ASU (see New Venture Challenge) and there was excellent customer service, and some of the most delicious pizza possible (which is what you want from a pizza shop). Well worth a visit!!
We went here for Pi Day. This place is different, and really good pizza! We had the Buffalo Chicken pizza which was amazing. The toppings and crust are absolutely worth trying, and going back to in our case. Great job, Spinelli’s!
I got a slice of the white pizza and some cheesy bread. It was all so bland. The cheese on both the pizza and bread tasted like nothing, the crust on the pizza was limp and white, as if it hadn't been cooked long enough, and it hadn't. I was excited to go here since I love white pizza, but it was a very big miss.
Worst pizza I've ever had. I'm not sure if it was because it was later in the evening or what. But I paid $10 for a slice of chicken ranch bacon pizza. The crust was super thin and crispy. The chicken was hard and dry. Just all around bad. The one star is for the friendly staff and size of the slice
Spinellis truly gave us the whole package of a Saturday night out in Tempe! Ryan and Juan gave excellent customer service, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great first-time experience by being friendly and attentive to us. The food was fun and delicious. Shout out to Tim for sending us their way!
Ordered a few ready made pizza slices. Everyone else got their pizza within minutes of ordering. Waited 30 minutes for my order and had to ask 3 times about it because they forgot somehow.. Asked for manager because waited over 30min for a basic order. No compensation. Just a sorry, here, bye. At the end of it all they gave us cold slices.
1st time here. Day date! The pizza was soooo good. You can get one slice of any pizza! They are huge slices. Mozzarella stix were the stringiest cheesiset ever, yummy! Artwork all over very cool music! Fun servers, very cool place. And I went in the afternoon, I'm sure its alot of fun ain't the evening
The worst experience ever. I have visited this place in July and pizza was very different from Italian obviously, but still good. So much so, that today I came back and ordered the same pizza. I could not be more disappointed. What I got was a piece of tasteless cardboard with 7 small pieces of old chicken in breading that was old and thicker than the chicken pieces. To top it all off there was almost no cheese at all. For 17 dollars! It’s 0 stars, but google doesn’t have this option. Please avoid, there are better places for much less
