If you order from here, make sure you do it in person. Ordering pickup or from a food delivery app is like playing roulette if you need to make any modifications to an order. I have lactose intolerance as well as Celiac's. My partner is also vegetarian. We've ordered a few times from here and I've been given hamburgers with cheese, wheat buns when a gluten free bun (that you have to pay $2 extra for) was requested. I've bought my partner a black bean patty with every meal we've gotten from here and she's received a beef patty on every single burger except one. That's probably around a 15% accuracy for someone that's a vegetarian.This has been going on from this location for nearly a year as well, this isn't a recent thing. I give this place a chance every couple months and, in my experience, I've had more incorrect meals than correct meals. I will not be purchasing from a Smashburger again unless I'm in a physical location to confirm my order and I highly recommend anyone reading this avoids online purchases as well unless you don't need to modify the order at all.
Hmm. I dont know. I live 5 mins away from this joint. Wife went a ordered at the counter a double bacon burger an order of chicken strips and a turkey burger. Chicken was great. Better than Raising Canes chicken..Waaay better. Burger was nothing special. Bacon was translucent not crispy and overly salty.Not sure if patties was cooked while she waited or was sitting on the grill. My strategy for getting a fresh burger is to not go at rush hour. Was a 6 minute drive and should have been pretty hot when she got home imho. lettuce and tomato were warm and soggy. Just seems to have little taste much like habit burger. Wife said turkey burger was good. I made the tater tots at home. They were out of honey mustard so lucky me. I always have a jug of Kens honey mustard
Made a order online for pickup - quoted time for pickup was about 20 mins pretty standard. I showed up in about 15 minutes 5 minutes before quoted pickup time. When I arrived I was notified that the order was just put into the system. No problem - an extra 10 mins is no sweat. I then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for my food. The kitchen was so understaffed that they were literally turning customers away. The food that I waited for was ice cold when I got it. Fries had been made at the beginning of the order instead of the end of the order. Overall it was a really crummy experience. I understand that the place was super under staffed but at what point do you decide you just cant open and operate with nobody in there to work?
The greatest burger you’ll ever experience eating. I’m about to move states and ill miss this place til the end of time. So incredibly sad they can’t get people in the door working for them. I came in on Saturday and their was ONE person doing all of the work. Management knows who he is and he should get a raise and promotion immediately. That guy saved your company $750+ atleast that day, he even had a good attitude throughout that turmoil of stress. Hell do great things in life and you guys are lucky to have him
First and last time at this location. Ordered dinner online for pick up, got home and had 1/2 my order and 1/2 someone else’s. Had my husband go back as I am pregnant and tired and was excited for dinner but still was left disappointed. The new order took forever, no apology and no type of compensation offered for the waste of time and travel back to the store. Try the Tempe marketplace location they’re much better with customer service.

You'll wait about eight minutes for your burger, but it's really worth it. Very fresh and tasty ingredients, and the burgers are made to order and not over-cooked. Go for the double bacon Smashburger. Even the mayo is top quality. It's huge and you may want to split it for two servings.
This place is soooo expensive, I should’ve know better. A large fry is $4+ dollars? What a rip off! It took the guy at the counter 3x to get our burger order correct. Thanks for actively listening. ? Overall, a bad experience. Won’t be going back.
I had the double spicy avocado smash burger and it was really good. It was the perfect amount of spice and savory. Burger was cooked perfect. No complaints. The food was cooked very quickly, so I was in and out very fast. I would definitely come back again.
Had an excellent burger and fries last night. The cashier/server Trinity was friendly and attentive during our entire experience. It's rare to see such excellent service nowadays.
