This Press is the absolute best. Their crew is so friendly and knowledgeable. They always welcome my puppy, BF and I and we love it. Best Press in town hands down.
This location is great, minus two complaints. First: the Wi-Fi is spotty and there is a cellular blackhole in this shop. You will feel like you’re cut off from the rest of the world. Second: the days and hours they are open are inconsistent. Some days they don’t open up and considering they’re not a neighborhood coffee shop, you could be driving or walking up to an empty shop.
Press Coffee Tempe is the best of the best. My standard is the macchiato. This place nailed it in every way. The barista (Carter) was very friendly and helpful. He is a Master Barista and very artistic with milk foam. He created a perfect drink with smooth drinkable coffee. To add sugar would be nearly a crime.
i am a big fan of the press coffee chain! they have amazing coffees — not the kind you need cream and sugar to mask the flavor, and there are so many good flavors cycled through. it’s a small location, but it also has cool outdoor seating by a fountain.
Second to Press Nexa in popularity perhaps but certainly not lacking in atmosphere. Sitting next to Tempe town lake this Press will have all the Press standards with, dare I suggest, a more peaceful atmosphere. Great for studying, lots of natural light and often baristas on rotation between Press locations if you really want to get to know your local coffee crew.
It was so great to see a barista take the time to put a bit of latee art into the pour. Most places just slap a lid on your drink, and focus on getting you out the door and on to the next person. It's what a coffee house should be. And the drink was very good ?
My first visit to Press. The associates were friendly, and the coffee was good. When in Tempe, I'd go back.
Pretty good vibes and atmosphere and the customer service was great! I ordered a mocha and an everything bagel with spread and they were good too. I like that they're generous with the spread (2 cups per bagel). The cafe is pretty small but makes for a decent study spot if you don't mind the occasional barking from the customers bringing in their dogs here and there. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here again!
