We love Pei Wei’s food but the service at this location has dropped off a cliff. We always pick up our orders and the last number of times we’ve ordered there is never anybody working the takeout counter so you just pick up your food from the cubbies. There is always something missing or wrong and sometimes multiple items missing. You can call the store but the phone just rings and rings so you’re left to try to correct the issue through the mobile app, I guess it’s just the sad state of things that customer service is no longer a concern by these establishments
I have ordered from here 5 or 6 times in the last 6 months. Really tried to give them the benefit of doubt. Either in person, or on Doordash. They don't get orders correct or cancel orders and leave you hanging. Will never order from here again and hope others avoid having a horrible experience. Plenty of other Asian cuisine options in Tempe. Don't waste your time or money.
The host james (guy with dreads tied up) is very unprofessional and rude. He saw us standing here waiting for someone as we have not been here b4 and decided to skip over us and take other people that showed up after us . then we were asking questions and he was giving attitude. Def not coming here again . not that hard to be professional at work . dont get me wrong i get its frustrating to be back and forth between cooking and cashiering but no reason to take it out on people who are buying food from you. And no reason for attitude
Ordered delivery through the Pei Wei website. One item was missing, was instructed by my order confirmation email to contact the store. The store had no idea how to issue a refund. So if you’re order is wrong or missing, you’re out of luck! Never eating or ordering from Pei Wei again.
This is our second experience with the same issue of the order wrong and the Staff being rude about it like it was my problem that it was wrong when the person at the register enters it wrong.Both times I have ordered 2 gluten free sweet and sour chicken with no veggies and white rice. Order comes out and there is one with veggies and one without. I inform them that it is wrong and they tell me that's how I ordered it. Person at register will say oh I entered it wrong, meanwhile the person packing the orders will still act like it's my problem while rolling her eyes at me about it.Pei Wei used to be good and good service and now the food is good and their service is terrible. Really sad. You have officially lost a customer after giving a second chance. I won't do business with rude service.
Apparently, 15 minutes is the length of time one can stay on hold to place an order before they just hang up on you. Twice. I never had the chance to even place my order. Headed somewhere else for dinner, where the customer service is better.
I ordered using the app tonight since I was out doing errands. The app said my curbside order would be ready at 7:31 pm. My wife and I were in space 2 by 7:30. I texted the number on the sign with my name and space number and waited. At 7:45 I sent a second text. No response to either. Finally I went in and saw my order sitting with the pre-paid orders on the shelf. No one at the counter so I just picked it up and left. It was not very warm when I got home from sitting. Why offer curbside if no one is paying attention to the texts? The food quality suffered from the delay as well. Step up your game!
I’m giving this a one star because zero is not an option.I ordered online through the app asked to remove all bean sprouts from my order because I’m severely allergic. When I got my food order it had bean sprouts on it. The young man who answered the phone continue to argue with me saying I didn’t write in no bean sprouts I find that hard to believe considering I would go into anaphylactic shock if I ate them the customer service was terrible I will never be back to this location again.
I ordered food for curbside pickup because I had my dog with me. All my text messages were ignored, phone calls were not picked up. I honked at the door five different staff members pointed me out to what I assume was the manager, who flicked her hand at me. I had been in the takeout spot for over 26 minutes, they also ignored the other car. Even if there's a problem with your system, one would think you might want to go out and see someone in the takeout spot to find out what the problem was.
This is the 1st time I have eaten at this location. The food was consistent as like the other locations by they completely messed up my sons order. Since he was hungry he ate what they brought but a little more attention to details should be considered.
