I was excited to try the cheese steak, however after paying almost twenty dollars for the cheese steak and a drink. I was so disappointed. The meat is not sliced ribeye but a pressed meat if that was not bad enough even though they cooked it on a grill it tasted like they steamed the onions there was no browning and flavor was flat. Kind of like onions in a soup and even the meat no browning or nice grill flavor and it also tasted more like steamed then grilled I chose American cheese instead of cheese whiz and the charged almost two dollars for the change but unfortunately there was not enough cheese to really taste it. No seasoning it needed salt pepper etc no salt and pepper on the table they also don't allow customers to use the bathrooms which I find frustrating. Even the drinks were off I tried the lemonade it was like water so I went with Dr pepper and it too was off maybe they don't filter the water or maybe it needed to be refilled. Anyway if I'm paying twenty dollars for a sandwich I think it should at least taste good. Sorry Gino's but I won't be back. I am from the east coast and know what a real cheese steak is and should taste like. It was a total let down.
I ordered pick up and I ordered cheese fries and wings. My cheese fries had gum in it. I called and explained and the guy on the phone could not care less. He was like “we’re really busy right so I guess somebody missed placed their gum” he did offer a refund but I payed cash and I really don’t want to go back. I 100% certain it was gum because of the texture, smell, and unfortunately I ate it. So gross
Being new to the area, I discovered Genos via DD. For the next month I have probably ordered Genos 2-3 xs a week. No problems. Love the Philly's here.Tonight I made the usual order, a large Philly extra meat, bacon and cheese.When I received my order I noticed there was no cheese at all.I called Genos to see what could be done to correct my order.The woman who answered was totally unprofessional. Complete lack of customer service skills. Wouldn't acknowledge her mistake(she claimed to know the order because she made my order), to top it all off, she refused to let me talk to management.This woman just cost her employer $250 a month of business. I bet I NEVER hear from Genos to make this right.
They keep messing up the to go order. We always ask for no olives on the veggie toasted sub, but multiple times they keep putting them on. This last time time no exception. We also ordered boneless wing. They were overcooked, and the sauce was on the bottom of the container, not on the wings. When we called they wanted us to come back to get a new order but wouldn’t give us credit for another day, nor a refund. It was this day only. Not happy at all.
I wish I could give it 0 stars. Was quite possibly the worst thing I've ever attempted to eat. The cheese steak was horrendous! Way too much salt, low quality meat and I think there may have been cheese. Hard to tell. The buffalo fries were disgusting. Worst part of all was it was way overpriced. They should be sued for using the term "Philly". Please shut this place down!
The call started a little rocky... But after the 9wner or manager got on the phone and understood what i was asking she took over!I want to say that they crushed it! I had her make me some Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steaks which "weren't" a part of their normal menu.I appreciate your patience with me an the effort you are to satisfy me the customer!Great job! P.S. my wife says.it.was her best veggie she's ever had!
Had an awful experience trying to convince their rookie cook that he doesn't know how to make their BBQ philly. He proceeded to argue with and yell at my Gf to the point where she was shouting.Used to like this place but never ever coming back and I don't advise anyone to ever. Used to be good, used to be good service, now it's bad food bad service and higher prices for what?Just go somewhere else. Not worth it
False advertising...the specials on the windows should be honored without having to ask for them. You guys charged me $25.43 for a large 2 topping pizza and 2 cokes...and...the pizza you gave me was someone else's. $7.00 for 2 cokes? The special on the window states 1 large pizza with 3 toppings is $9.99...plus $7.00 for soda is $17.00 plus tax...
I ordered a salid with no peppers extra ranch and fried mushrooms and they managed to royally messed that easy order up royally. People wonder why we think don't want to pay kids 15 hr to make our food.
GENOS IS OVERCHARGING AND TOLD ME THAT THE ASU STUDENTS DONT CARE!!! I was told that $25.43 was the price on a large pizza and 2 cokes when the window stated $9.99 for the pizza.
